Santorini's located across Nathan Hale high school is a great supplement to the growing neighborhood. The Greek/Italian restaurant is family-owned and exudes comfort and class throughout the entire casual restaurant. The menu is diverse with great salads topped high with olives and deep, cheesy pizzas. Treat yourself to some garlic bread also, that stuff is just downright good. Get there early, the neighborhood, especially on the weekend, flocks to the place at the 7 dining-hour but the big families usually are out of there around 8:30. Try it and enjoy!

The Kingfish cafe is a very unique dining experience for Seattle. With the majority of its menu being southern-inspired, the chef hits gold here. The catfish, as many other reviewers have stated already, is the prime-rib of this soul food joint. The accompanying grits, rice, beans etc evoke the spicy, heterogeneous flavors of the South. The decor fits the menu and the surrounding neighborhood is beautiful. After your meal, take a walk around Volunteer park to walk off the tasty, greasy meal. Enjoy!

The pizza at Delfino's is very underrated in my opinion. The deep-dish, Chicago style pizza has great flavor and is always served steaming warm, right from the ovens. The prices are reasonable, especially for a large one-slice lunchtime option that is great on the go. The other menu options are just okay-- I'd definintly go with their classic pizza. Even a regular ol slice of cheese pizza tastes great!

My little sister has long been a dancer at this great family-owned dance studio and over the years I have always loved attending her dance recitals held in June after a semester of training. The teachers here are so personable and great with kids, not to mention, extremely talented! The classes range from ballet to hip-hop and are accessible to kids of all ages. If you have kids this is a great way to let them reveal their artistic, creative side as well as just plain having fun. :-)

Voila! on Madison is one of those restaurants everyone seems to love. For good reason too- the french food is amazing. No matter what you order, you'll be delighted with the results. The menu is small but each entrée is given so many tasty details that your palate will surely be satisfied. For a small restaurant, they have a pretty big staff and they're always very attentive, personable, and one server even spoke in French! Great for a couple looking to treat themselves on a weekend evening. :-)

The hearty bread makes the ordinary, everyday sandwich amazing. They also offer a build-your-own sandwich option; the freshest ingredients are always used.
