The bartenders are always attentive and their drinks (even mocktails) are top of the line. Great place

My wife and I had a discussion with Cheryl (owner) and she was great at first. She did an initial walk through and talked about our budget and project and everything was in good shape. She then was supposed to make a second visit with her designer, but Cheryl never showed and the designer actually laughed out loud at the same budget numbers we gave Cheryl...(who thought our numbers were fine). The designer just seemed rude and condescending...not the experience we were hoping for. Still shopping this project around. Good luck all.

I have to say the people here are very nice. However, during our hour+ long breakfast, the coffee ran dry and we were never asked for a refill. Nor were we offered water, or a refill on the OJ. 40 minutes after we placed our order, still no breakfast. We had to ask about our food, and when it did come, both of our two orders were wrong. One order had to be entirely remade, it was so far off. More waiting... we finally just decided to leave, more than one hour after arriving. By the time we went to pay, the breakfast was finally ready as a to-go order. We also thought it was over priced. $18 for one scone, one banana bread, one OJ, 2 coffees and one order of hash browns + 2 eggs (they compted the omelet). Too bad. Susan's is so close to our house, we were really excited to find a great breakfast near home. Geraldine's in Columbia City is MUCH BETTER and, I'd guess, less than one mile away. There is generally a wait at Geraldine's but it's worth it, much better food and service and more reasonably priced.
