I usually love going to the Hobby Lobby. They have a huge variety of not only craft items, but decorations for your house. I don't think their selection of Christmas tree ornaments can be beat !...
I usually love going to the Hobby Lobby. They have a huge variety of not only craft items, but decorations for your house. I don't think their selection of Christmas tree ornaments can be beat ! Prices are reasonable and they are usually running a 50% off sale somewhere in the store. This time though, I was shockingly dissapointed. I waited for over 30 minutes back in fabrics for somebody to cut me some ribbon. I stood there too and watched three other customers lay their cloth down and walk away. This after all of us run that little bell many many times. I finally walked up to the management and requested someone. He seemed bothered to help me. Nobody came ! I heard them page somebody and it was a good 15 minutes later before someone showed up. They lost 3 customers during that time, and it would have been 4 if I hadn't really needed that ribbon. For selection, I would give them an A, for service, at this particular store, I would give them an F.

Great prices and customer service, but they are having a difficult time right now shipping out in a timely manner. If you can wait on your products, this is a great place to shop for reptile...

I never expected any kind of craft shop to finally move into our little town, but thank goodness they have !! If you are into beading, jewelry making, you can literally find anything you need to do that here. I'm not into that particular craft, so can't comment on the prices, but I did love their selection. My favorite thing was the way she has the store decorated. It's a feast to the eyes when you walk in . Colors everywhere, and the beads are in what looks like a collection of every size, shape and color of glass you can imagine.

Just visited this relatively new store this week. Don't go here unless you have alot of time to shop and look around. My daughter and I literally walked in and our mouths dropped open. We were having a girl's day out and boy did we have fun !!! Alot of jewelry, tons and tons of different styles, ranging in price from reasonable to expensive. Lots of purses, and more doggy purses than I've ever seen in one place. They also have a pretty large home decoration department with reasonable prices. Of course I loved all the little wooden garden signs they had. The restroom is outside ! Kinda shocked us , but oh well. lol. It IS Tennessee !!

I usually end up here when I'm looking for something for the computer, software, or print paper. They have great sales for back to school, and if you can catch them having a sale online, you can really get some cheap deals. Often they will offer some incentive online for shopping, like if you spend $100 you can get a little college size refridgerator for free. Not bad at all considering you don't get those kinds of freebies at Walmart ! Still, best to use wise shopping techniques anywhere you go. Not everything will be as cheap at one place as it might be at another.

They have Christian music, old fashioned and up-dated, gifts, t-shirts, a little bit of everything. Prices seemed reasonable to me, but I have never been to another Bible outlet so I can't compare them.

The Old Mill is a wonderful gathering of very unique shops, dining and atmosphere. I like the gift shop where you can buy old fashioned gifts , food, canned jellies and jams, and other gift items. You can even buy bags of corn mean made either right there or close to home. The Mill itself is beautiful, with a little waterfall, and you can walk over a bridge right over it and take some pretty pictures.
