Sarah Janes definately has the best baked stuff in the city. Any thing there is absolutely fabulous, but their wedding cakes are especially good. They are really nice and helpful, to boot. They have cookies, muffins, donuts, bagels and lots of other stuff. I haven't been there forever, but now I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. They are just the cutest neighborhood joint, on Johnson street.

This is a great great business. Bless their hearts. We actually own a membership to the East side food co-op, and it is great. Very friendly staff, fresh food, nice deli, and even an art gallery....

It's a great place to hang out. You could study the bulk food for hours!! It's a little pricy, and not as much selection as like whole foods, but it is the only place to get organic/ vegan/ free range WHATEVER food nearby.

Anyway the food is real good and pretty cheap. Use your happenings book coupon. There is one for buy a drink and an entree get a drink and an entree free. Rainbow at the quarry also has coupons on the backs of reciepts, but they're not as good and cub is cheaper anywho.

This is a really cool video store. All the people are really helpful and friendly (Hi CAROL!!!) and the can help you find stuff and choose. They have video calenders for 5 bucks with coupons for free family movie rentals and a monthly "movie buck" good on anything at all in the whole store. Awesome huh? sure is. So is the 99 DVD and VHS (whatever those are) monday through thursday. Check them out, if you don't already have NETFLIX (which is way better anyway!)

Usually I love wendys (the chili, the chick with the hair, the free refills, the adoption, the pre-teenage workers who don' t speak english- not I'm not being sarcastic, they have nice accents) but the other day I got their medium fries and was very dissapointed. Well actually I threw up. I may have just been sick, but I did not pay 99 cents to throw up!! On the plus, they were quiet big and they had free salt. But they made me through up. All in all, buy these if you want to puke.

Normally micky d's is nice and everything, but these workers have been really sleasy in the past. Once I went with my friend (she had this great hair, really red, really soft) and we were getting water and this employee keep staring and winking and smiling at us. It was really creepy. When I finally got my mom to talk to the manager, he's like "Oh, I'm sorry she thought that". No sympathy or free pop or nothing. I say next time, use the drive throw.

I almost went to the school that holds it. I almost did. I'm glad I didn't. It's a hippie school. But they do sell good plants.

This place is on Central near Lowry in NE. They have the best food in town!!! Mediteranian, Lebanese, basically good middle eastern cuisine. The Happenings book has a buy one get one free entree coupon. They also have a HUGE buffet (like 7 bucks for lunch) and the best part is the "Take out buffet". You can get Gyros, humus, falafal grape leaves, spinache pie (basicly everything on the menu) for $4.50 a pound. That's definatly the way to go.
