I like the Attic overall, but tend to feel more comfortable there in the "off" times. It can be get very crowded, very quick and as soon as that happens, service goes downhill.
Its a great place to watch a sporting event though, and has a good selection of beer. The food is good, but its standard bar fare, don't expect too much special to happen in that arena.
Although this doesn't differentiate a place too much nowadays, it was always smoke free. I have found the places that were always smoke free have managed to smell better than the smoking places who now are smoke free.

Coming from Chicago, I consider myself kind of a pizza connoisseur (if thats not a total oxymoron), but I have grown to enjoy their pizza and salads as some of the best in Seattle.
The delivery drivers are always prompt and courteous and they know where/who you are if you call using the same phone number. They make the process pretty painless overall, and I continue to go back to them when I want delivered pizza.

If you really want to find something more unique and really special, this place was great. They have a wide assortment of jewels and the staff was very eager to take time to make sure you found what you were looking for.
They do work on commission (from what I could tell), so you have some room to bargain. I walked out of there with a really great ring and what I felt was a really great price. Hard to beat that!

I have bought a few pieces of jewelry here for my girlfriend, and they have always been very helpful in trying to find the right pieces and working in my price range.
The jewelry can be a bit standard, but if you have the patience, you can typically find that special piece here without having to get a second mortgage.
They also are good about getting watch batteries replaced and jewelry cleaned if you bought from any of their stores.

If you want more structured snowshoeing or x-country skiing, go to snoqualmie east when it opens. you can take the lifts up and it has tons of areas you can go to. I think the nordic tracks are all near there as well. It's only 45 mins from Seattle, so hard to beat.
Also, if you are more adventurous, I like to snowshoe behind Alpental. There is a trail, but it tends to be a great area to trailblaze, and there are usually other people around. I have carried my board on my back out there and had some amazing times.
I know there are tons of places along I-90 where people just park and have a blast. You can always just look for groups of cars, and that's likely what is happening there.

Its true that this place has been around for a long time, so I got my car detailed there last year as a present from my girlfriend. The service itself was very good, but dealing with pricing and timing was a bit of a hassle. That was only one experience though, it could have just been a bad time. It does seem to have quite a bit of traffic, so people must like it in general.

I also really liked the extensive spirits and wine list and the restaurant ambience was really cool. I do remember that the server was very professional and nice.
Could be a nice date night destination if you want to be downtown.

It's also nice because they have big event parking lot right next to the restaurant ($9)

I have only been here a couple times, but I recommend this place as a consistently good philly cheese steak sandwich. They are a bit on the pricey side, but the combo's are a good amount of food, so it doesn't feel like they are taking too much advantage of you.
Service there has always been pleasant and parking has its good days and bad, but usually is pretty decent around lunchtime.
