This is a great place for chinese food that is totally authentic. It is crowded with people who know authentic, its not fancy so it is not expensive. The food is amazing. It is not all totally spicy as the name might imply. They specialize in hotpots but try the Green onion pancake, Crispy Chicken in hot garlic sauce, fish in hot black bean sauce, dried cooked string bean and ma po tofu. they also have all the classics like Kung Pao, Broccoli Beef and black bean prawns. You will not be dissapointed. This is the only place that I like for takeout too.

They would surely know the best place to get a highend coat repaired. Call em up. Also, if you have never been there, it is worth a stop next time you are at the market. They have an amazing collection.

They freeze well and toast up real nice. It is worth the trip to West Seattle to get a bag of these and keep em around. They make great sandwiches there too AND they have the best cream cheese selections as well!
p.s. they import H&H bagels at My Coffeehouse on a daily basis. It is in Madison Valley - if you don't mind day old bagels you can get the originals there.

The Mt. Baker Community Club is a great place for an event this size. It has a kitchen and parking and I have attended everything from Ballet Lessons, to Funerals to Weddings here. It is a blank palate so you will need to decorate. They have tables and chairs for rent. They also have two levels of space - the upper level is for smaller groups and the lower is for larger groups. Overall a nice cozy feel in a great neighborhood accross from a park.

Try Don's on Capitol Hill. It's been around a long time. Don just retired but he trained a great staff. This is where I used to take my 1963 Dodge Dart when it had problems (all the time) they were always nice, honest and reasonable. They can fix any car but this is a great place to take American made cars.

Kasala has a store and a warehouse - this address is the warehouse in the south end of Seattle. This is not a typical warehouse of furniture. It really is the place that Kasala stores it's overstock and stuff that is on sale. Kasala sells modernish furniture but some of it is modern/classic. We have gotten amazing leather chairs there plus I have a few friends who have gotten their tables there, etc. If you are looking for furniture, this is a great place to put on your list - great deals, really good ideas, and high quality stuff!

Sayer's fuel has u-haul fuel from gravel to firewood and a few types of bark and compost. This is a great place to get a cord of firewood if you have a truck or stationwagon. Otherwise you might end up getting firewood in prepacked stacks from a grocery or hardware store. This is much more reasonable. Call them for quotes.
