Okay, I admit I spent many nights at the hangar. It is a cool bar. Kind of a dive inside but a step up from the other crappy bars like Stix. They usually get pretty good bands and have excellent drink specials. During my Carbondale days they mostly attracted rock,hippie,punk type bands and patrons. They have a couple of pool tables and I had many Tequila Tuesday nights at the hangar.
If they don't have a band, they usually had a dj but some nights it would just be pretty chill.
A must after visiting the hangar is to find the bagel man.
