Books, yes, they have books! Although I do wish at times that they were more consistent with series (Books 1, 3, 12, and 19?), they do stock quite a fine selection of your latest best sellers and other old fiction favorites. Their branch library in Ambler easily fills out many of the gaps in their collection.
However, it's when you look beyond books that this library shows its strengths. Magazines, a fine video and DVD library, along with a solid selection of audio books adds to the experience. However, there are a few things in particular I remember them for: the $1 book rack at the front, featuring trade paperbacks and hard covers often barely read, the bi-annual book sale, and lastly, the kid's summer chess club.
