Somehow we missed out on Joe's until just over a month ago. We actually did a web search for BBQ in Gilbert and read some pretty good things about the place. We enjoyed it so much! On the first visit I had the chicken breast and my husband had a sampler plate. The meat has a yummy smoked flavor. I probably enjoyed their 'sides' more than anything...mac & cheese, potato salad, and the beans are all terrific! (cookies are good too!)
My husband and one son really like their homemade root beer too!
The actual restaurant is in an old grocery store (I believe it was Safeway). There are picnic tables to eat at, and you can either eat inside or outside.
As an added bonus, you get your food free on your birthday!

At the end of June, we decided on a somewhat spur of the moment trip to Southern California (starting July 6). We generally opt for using priceline to find a cheaper hotel that is a little farther away. This time, however, I wanted to stay somewhere closer...and nicer! It started with a nice reservationist named Ronald telling us of a pretty good deal on a standard room at the resort. When we arrived, however, we actually had Downtown Disney view rooms! Our room had a queen bed with a bunk bed that also had a trundle! Each room comes standard with an infant/toddler playpen.
I was just ecstatic from the moment I walked into the hotel. Not that the registration process is too long, but that have a child's sitting area close by for the kids to sit in and watch Disney movies!
I'm not big on keeping my boys out very late since we usually start our Disney days fairly early! Our rooms were so perfect for this! We headed back to our rooms, got ready for bed, and could then watch the fireworks from our balcony!
There is a direct entrance to California Adventure from the Grand Californian, and only a very short walk to the entrance of Disneyland. The convenience was the best part for me. Not having to drag a tired family to a bus stop to wait an unknown amount of time for a hotel shuttle was fabulous!
The staff was very courteous and attentive. Our oldest boys even participated in a hotel 'treasure hunt' one afternoon that ended with them both getting a huge Mickey Mouse cookie.
Our accommodations were comfortable and ample. One thing to be aware of is the refrigerator. The for sale items inside are electronically monitored, so even if you take something out and then put it right back in, you'll get charged (though I've heard they're good about taking that charge off if you explain it to them!)

We've been going to Dr. St. Jacques since we moved to Phoenix in June 2003. We now have 3 boys, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff at Saguaro Pediatrics! One of my sons has asthma & allergies, so we go in a lot at times. We see the Nurse Practitioner, Amy Eby, on most sick visits. Amy, the nurses, and Dr, St Jacques are always kind and knowledgable and talk TO my children not down to them. They remember us each time we come in. Since one of mine is sick, I think I go in too much sometimes, but they never make any of my questions or concerns seem trivial. They've even made numerous check-up calls to my home to make sure everything is going ok.

Whenever I'm in town, I have to stop by and grab their Essex sandwich. Pumpernickel, cucumbers, turkey, thousand island dressing...yummy!! The sandwich is always made pretty big, so it's very filling. I've only ever tried their sandwiches and bagel chips and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is very quaint. Parking can be a pickle - if you just park by the front door. There are shops behind the deli with additional parking.

Being in Arizona, I don't really get my fill of Clemson apparel, accessories, etc. So when I got to go to Clemson last week, I headed straight for the Tigers Sports Shop. They already have a wonderful selection of merchandise for every age (picked up something for my 6, 3, and 1 year old boys). It's also nice that I can purchase simple t-shirts for my boys and also a nice Cutter & Buck shirt for my husband. There is a good selection of jewelry, ornaments, flags, shoes - pretty much anything you can make Clemson themed!

I have 3 boys, and the oldest 2 are currently in some type of gymnastics. Most gyms focus on the girls, but not AZOG. My oldest has been going here since October 2005, and really enjoys it. He is currently in Level 2. They have very good guidelines for teaching them. My son is now working on his back handsprings, flips, rings, etc. Even my preschooler's teacher teaches them excellent fundamentals in a very fun way.
The only downside is the current construction. They are in the process of expanding, so it can be kind of messy, crowded, and loud at times. But this, of course, is only temporary.

My boys happen to sit well for cuts....but here, who wouldn't?! You can sit in a seat that's car and watch a movie while they cut your hair! My 6 year old prefers to sit in their regular chairs and play video games. The staff has always been very patient and understanding as they are dealing with children.
While I'm waiting, I can sit with my youngest and watch a video or have him play with the train set. I usually have to pull my boys away from the video games when I'm trying to leave!

I currently have 2 children attending RSLS. My oldest is in kindergarten. The philosophy of this school is teaching the WHOLE child. Yes, they teach them the traditional school things, but they encourage each child's strengths. Children, daily, have an opportunity to make their own decisions about what to do during free time (art, reading, building, etc.). All of these skills may seem like playing, but they are truly fundamental in life.
My preschooler has a blast too. He is 3 and begs to go to school everyday. The teachers are always loving, encouraging, and uplifting.
Next year I'll have all 3 of my boys there!

There's a ball pit, tv, and activity table for the kids to play which is always nice!
