Probably one of the few "five and dimes" left in the country, O'Brien's 5 & 10 is truly a landmark in Northborough. It has a little bit of everything at great prices, from craft supplies to mailing supplies to school supplies to toys and games to seasonal decorations to greeting cards. If you are looking for that random odd or end, chances are it can be found at O'Brien's. The highlight for all children at O'Brien's is the rack of penny candy, where you can fill up a plastic bag full of as many sour patch kids or Swedish fish or chews or WHATEVER as you can fit and pay only a penny a piece. O'Brien's is historic yet functional.
