Teamworks is a really fun place to be for sports games. There are three different indoor soccer fields that facilitate exciting games for all ages pretty much every day and all weekend. There is an upstairs bar overlooking the fields that is a really great place for parents to hang out and watch their kids' games. There is also a private room for clinics and tryouts. There is a snack bar with delicious food for between games or while watching, and the bleachers, though uncomfortable, provide ample seating for games. There are also all sorts of arcade games in the center area, including claw games, Cruisin' World car games, prize games, and air hockey tables. Teamworks is a really fun place to hold games and hang out.

Proctor Elementary School is a new building with nice facilities, including a library, gymnasium, and comfortable classrooms. Teachers are typically kind and patient, class schedule & curriculum and fun and educational, and it is a nice atmosphere for students. The administration is kind and helpful, with the exception of the current principal. Proctor faculty are helpful and patient, looking after students from the moment they walk in the door until they moment they get on the bus home.

Oh Notre Dame Academy. This all girls school has a student body of less than 300 students. This atmosphere is comfortable to some and stifling to others. Being a prestigious school, the tuition is not cheap, and neither is the reputation you get. Though there is a feeling of community, the educational standards are not up to par, with unqualified teachers and ancient nuns who are stuck in their ways and refuse to modernize with the rest of this world. Despite this fact, Notre Dame is still considered prestigious by colleges, universities, and peers, so often saying that one attends NDA is a thing of pride. The college preparatory curriculum is challenging and the atmosphere is inviting despite the reputation of being a "snobby and preppy" school. There are many things that people don't know about NDA, and this could be a good or a bad thing.

Probably one of the few "five and dimes" left in the country, O'Brien's 5 & 10 is truly a landmark in Northborough. It has a little bit of everything at great prices, from craft supplies to mailing supplies to school supplies to toys and games to seasonal decorations to greeting cards. If you are looking for that random odd or end, chances are it can be found at O'Brien's. The highlight for all children at O'Brien's is the rack of penny candy, where you can fill up a plastic bag full of as many sour patch kids or Swedish fish or chews or WHATEVER as you can fit and pay only a penny a piece. O'Brien's is historic yet functional.

Captives Images is a group of talented and friendly photographers who take sports pictures for all ages. Photographers are experienced and provide uniform, clean sports photographs for memorabilia. There is also a large selection of items to order for your child's sports pictures, including bobble heads, plaques, magnets, and trading cards. Sometimes shoots can be a little disorganized and the wait can be long, but in reality there is nothing the company itself can do about it. I would recommend this business for sports photography.

Diane Cournoyer Dance Center is a nice place to dance if you are under the age of 8 years old. They offer accomodating gymnastics and dance classes for small children at convenient times. However, experienced dancers and dancers who hope to continue through high school should search elsewhere. Small children overrun the dance studios, older classes dwindle to 4 or 5 students by the time you enter high school age groups, and classes are at inconvenient times to base a school schedule around, especially for those who are not in the area for school. Recitals are long and tedious, especially with all of the small children. Teachers are not qualified to present a challenging dance curriculum for anyone over the age of 10. I would say that it is a good place for kids, but seasoned and older dancers may want to search elsewhere.

As a frequent eater at the Northborough House of Pizza, I can say that the pizza there is phenomenal. The cheese pizza is extra cheesy and delicious, the mozzarella sticks are spectacular, and the French fries are to die for. One hidden treasure pizza would be the barbecue chicken pizza, which is very popular and delicious. The Northborough House of Pizza also has salads, wraps, chicken fingers, and sandwiches to mix it up if you're not in the mood for pizza. The prices are good and there are booths to sit down at in the restaurant along with a television, or they will deliver in amazingly good time!!
