Special Touch valet cleaners provides decent service. Not fantastic, but not bad. Their prices are relatively competitive (though I miss the days of $1.35 per item in New Orleans, LA). They do a pretty nice job on the laundering of men's shirts, and you are given a choice of hanger or folded when you get the shirts back. Usually the shirts come out very clean, and the folding in the box is handled very nicely as well. They also will keep your credit card on file if you want, and then charge it when appropriate (with the customers okay of course). If you live in the neighborhood, they are worth visiting.

I went for a model call at bumble and bumble and almost cried when I left. Although the cut was checked by one of the instructors before I left, I was unhappy at the time of the cut. I figured I'd go home and wash the junk out of my hair (that they put in to style it) and see how it worked out when it was clean -- but it was still horrible. It was so bad, that for the first time in my life I actually went back to have a haircut fixed. To their credit, they did send me to the professional end of their business instead of giving my head over to a student again, and the gentleman who cut it that time was much better and salvaged my hair as best as possible. I'd be afraid to go there again.

Bagel Bites Inc is a relatively new place for people who keep kosher to eat. They have a nice selection of food, with many options. They also feature a weekly band as well as a weekly poetry club. They are very open to suggestions from their customers, and work hard to keep their customers happy. Overall, as far as eateries go, this shop is among the cleaner ones. If you are in the neighborhood I would recommend stopping by for lunch or the such. Enjoy.

Tov industries is a worldwide supplier of Hand baked Shmurah Matzah. They have matzah in different amounts, with different characteristics, for different prices.
Their prices are fantastically competitive and their hand shmura matzah is the best I’ve ever tasted. Tov also ships matzah world wide. They are generally very pleasant to deal with (though occasionally, because of how overworked they are during the pesach selling season, they might come across as a bit short or grumpy). Overall, they are completely worth working with. Their matzah is outstanding.
