If you're in the market for new motorcycle parts let me point you in the direction of J&P Cycles. It's slightly off the path, located in Anamosa.
J&P is amazingly, one of the largest retailers of after-market motorcycle parts in the world. I say amazing as it's still in tiny Anamosa.
As someone that knows the details of J&P let me be the first to say that they are a customer first company. many companies claim it, J&P backs it up.
First and foremost, they stand behind their products. They have a 120 day returns policy, 4 months!
Secondly, their Customer Service folks are top notch for the most part. They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied and want to continue to shop J&P.
It's a niche market, so most folks won't find this review all that helpful, but if you're looking for motorcycle parts, I say give J&P a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We've recently switched from Qwest phone service to Mediacom VoIP.
My memories of VoIP calling are from a few years ago, when it seemed like you were calling someone half-way around the world. Long pauses, dropped parts of conversation and really, only way way communication..walkie-talkie style.
I'd have to say that I've been pleasantly surprised with the VoIP service Mediacom is offering. I can tell no difference between it and the standard copper line. The other bonus is that domestic long distance carries no additional charge. This is especially nice for me as my wife has family in other states that she likes to call 2-3 times a week.
Couple the VoIP phone service with Mediacom cable and HSI for 99 bucks and you really can't go wrong.
As an additional note I am somewhat disappointed with Mediacom's channel selection with their basic digital package as it doesn't have Noggin-obviously not a big deal unless you have young children. They were also out of DVRs when we switched to their cable service, nothing worse than having to watch commercials. :-(

Naso's in Marion is a nice change of pace for the area. Instead of getting stuck at chain restaurants. Naso's offer a variety of different foods, the best maybe their club sandwich though. You can get the 1/2 sandwich and soup at a decent price and it taste great. The atmosphere at Naso's is fairly laid back with a bar section and a back section. Smoking is available, if you so desire. Next time you're in the Marion area or just looking for something other than a chain restaurant check out Naso's.
