Dr. Paramo is the dentist at Hudson Dental, and she has never been anything but friendly and knowledgeable. She explains everything that's happening and really involves you in your dental care and procedures. Occasionally, the nurses are a little less gentle than they probably should be. Dr. Paramo herself is one of the best dentists I have seen, and I would recommend her to anything in Jersey City that needs a dentist. Her office is a 10-15 minute walk from Journal Square, and easily accessed via the 87 bus if you hate walking, so she is convenient as well.

Dr Rackoff is a Rheumatologist at Beth Israel Medical Center in Union Square, and she is friendly and helpful, and quite knowledgable in her field. The only issue is that the office she is located in is terrible for delays and often you must wait 30 + minutes for an appointment. This seems to be a problem for the entire BIMC though, so I think it is their staffing's fault and nothing to do with Dr. Rackoff.

Located on University Ave not too far from Hilldale Mall, this Noodles is a pretty standard incarnation of the chain. This small chain has exploded in the Madison area, and for good reason - their food is well-priced, tasty, and the generous portions ensure you'll be full. The side rooms of this particular location are great in the summer when the fresh air is appreciated, but during the colder months sit in the main room to avoid drafts!

Located near the East Towne Mall, this Noodles is a bit out of the way. If you don't know where it is, you might have trouble finding it as the signs are a bit confusing. This small chain has exploded in the Madison area, and for good reason - their food is well-priced, tasty, and the generous portions ensure you'll be full. This east side locale rarely is too packed to find seating, so it's a great place to have lunch while out shopping.

This small chain has exploded in the Madison area, and for good reason - their food is well-priced, tasty, and the generous portions ensure you'll be full. During the last renovation at this location, they changed the booths from regular booths to these strange out-facing booths that seem to take up more space and seat fewer people. Wish they would change it back!

Cozy and a little chain-restauranty for the State Street area, it never seems to fail that Noodles is hopping with business. This small chain has exploded in the Madison area, and for good reason - their food is well-priced, tasty, and the generous portions ensure you'll leave full. This State Street location seems to have some of the friendlier staff of the Madison locations.

A diner by day and late night, fancy French restaurant by evening, this place has more personality than any other restaurant in the area. The food is a little pricey, but not too bad. Great omelets and fries during diner hours, great steaks and crabcakes during dinner hours. The only diner you go to that'll ask if you've got a reservation when you bring in a party of 5 on a Friday night. :) And you can't go wrong with the fact that it's open 24 hours!

The R+R is a wannabe swanky club located in the Meatpacking district. Drinks are not too overpriced, especially considering the neighborhood. Unfortunately, they had only 4 beers on tap and they were all crappy American beers like Bud and Bud Light. The concert space was a little funky but pretty good. Bathrooms are tiny and too dark, especially to have a bathroom attendant in. Overall, a pretty good place to see a show but not a fabulous place to just hang out in.

Who can resist a giant Toys R Us? Visiting this multi-story store should melt the heart of any adult. For a few dollars, take a ride on the giant ferris wheel whose cars are all themed for different iconic toys (Tonka truck, My Little Pony, Barbie, etc). If you're a video game fan, there are playable demos hooked up to many gaming systems. Barbie fans can visit the giant Barbie doll house. Their LEGO selection is great to. If you love toys and fun, this is definitely a place to spend some time.

I have walked by this place several times and I have never seen it open. The hours on the door claim 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, but I have yet to see it open. If they want more business perhaps they should stay open such that people who have to work during the day could actually use their services.
