Home Depot was the last home improvement chain to come to town, and it seems they joined the party late. There isn't really anything special about Home Depot compared to Menards and Lowes. They do, however, have better door buster type specials, whereas their competitors do not. Their lawn and garden selection seems to overall offer higher quality products than some other places.

This Menards is an extremely large store. It takes a while to get around, and there are a massive number of impulse items. However, their selection is almost unparalleled. You can find most anything relating to building and home improvement. Their quality is not the best however, and they sell lots of 'made in China' low quality items.

Lowes has a good selection. They also have helpful service; the only problem is trying to find anyone to help you. The store always seems to be understaffed (except at the registers), and you can spend a significant amout of time finding help. Having only 2 entrances (but 4 exits) makes you walk a ways from your car to come in. They have a vast array of lumber, hardware, and lawn/garden products.

However, if what you want is hardware, then this store is perfect. The staff is helpful. They often have good tool bargains.

This Bob Evans is conveniently located just off of Interstate 70. Recently remodeled, the restaurant includes a cracker-barrel-style shopping area, sure to entice those with a credit card in hand. The food is good, and the servers are helpful. The wait times can be lengthy, however. Their menu changes seasonally, but often includes their Wildfire barbeque.

This Bob Evans is conveniently located just off of Interstate 65. As the only Bob Evans on this side of town, the wait times (especially on Sundays) can be lengthy. However, the good food is worth it. For any meal, especially breakfast, the choices are fresh and tasty. The staff is helpful and always accomodating.

This MCL Cafeteria is conveniently located off of US Highway 52. There is pleasant soft background music. The chef salads are especially good, but all of their large (and ever changing) selection is tasty.
The only downside is that the side door brings people walking through the long side of the line, in order to reach the end. The accompanying cold drafts in winter are unpleasant.

Flower boxes are on the windows during warm months, usually holding beautiful petunia arrangements. The food is delicious, and the selection changes daily. The old-time feel of the restaurant is a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of the mall. They can accomodate parties of many sizes.
