This Office Max store is kept very nice and clean. It includes a Copy Max center, where you can copy, ship, etc. The advertised specials are worthless; by the time you get there, they've always mysteriously sold out. For general office supplies they're fine, however. The employess are not extremely helpful, and all have these annoying earbuds (an in-store employee chat thing) in their ears.

The rest of the store is very large, and offers most everything. Prices are competitive if you have a Marsh Fresh IDEA card; otherwise, it's a rip-off.

They often have lots of shoes on clearance, and it's a great way to get a bargain.

The downtown location of Stout's Shoes is located on Mass Ave. You can use street parking and enter through the front door, but it is more convenient to use the back entrance, and park on the small lot on Delaware (just north of New York St). The selection of shoes is very good, and the staff always is helpful. There is an entertaining talking parrot usually sitting outside of the store on warm days.

The underground parking garage is expensive; take CTA instead. If you can attend on a free/discount day, it's best for saving money. It truly takes hours to fully explore this museum - allow a full day! It is a wonderful experience.

The Field Museum is one of the most popular and famous museums in Chicago. It is best to find out when the free days are, and attend then. Otherwise, admission can be very expensive. The displays are both educational and inspiring. You can truly spend an entire day in the museum. It is probably not good to bring young children; they will get bored. However, it is a wonderful experience for anyone even slightly interested in natural history.

It takes a little while to get your food, but it's never too long. They also have a nicely stocked salad bar. Desserts - especially the pies - are delicious. The servers are helpful.
