Christmas Tree Shops sell more than just Christmas items. They sell all sorts of seasonal things and home decorative items.
They have really cheap prices, which are nice. I personally am a clutter hater, so when I go in there I am faced with many items I would never allow into my home because I feel that they are just clutter items, and not really useful. Every once in awhile though, I do find something that is useful, cool, and at a great price. I recommend that you check them out.

I really like the service that I have encountered in the Rite Aid Pharmacy. Their pharmacists are fast at filling prescriptions and have answered my questions.
Plus, I like the other items that Rite Aid carries. They have decent sales, plus I love to get their rebate items. During the holidays, they carry holiday items which are nice to buy conveniently. They also have other convenient items such as food.

Bed Bath & Beyond is decent as a home store. I have not frequented them as much as I have frequented Linens N' Things. I do still think that they are acceptable though.
They do not offer the same exact lines of items as Linens N' Things, so that is good because it provides a different perspective and more variety of items.
I have found more reasonably priced items here as well as a lot of the more smaller things for the home. Their bedding collection is decent, and I would say that it is comparable to other home stores.

This is one of my favorite stores to go shopping at for home decor items. They have a really large selection of bedroom and kitchen accessories.
What I like is that they have different ranges of quality and a large selection of styles within each type of sheet. They have a lot of brands of kitchen items that I cannot find elsewhere. Their variety is what keeps me coming back.
I have also found them to have decent clearance prices. That, along with the 20% off coupons are just great.

This place has a really large selection of GOOD GOOD chocolate. I like their individually wrapped ones to mix up. Also, their high percentage cocoa is something interesting to buy. It's so bitter, but if you melt it onto strawberries it's so good!
Another good reason to go into this store is free samples!

I seem to get food poisoning whenever I have frequented Taco Bell in the past few years. I have gone TWICE in those few years.
However, it was not this location that gave me food poisoning. This one seems decently clean. Plus, who doesn't love tacos?
Since they have started their value menu, I think that Taco Bell is a great place to get a good bargain and stray from the burger standard fast food.

Whenever I find myself in need of new shoes these days, I find myself continually purchasing them from DSW. They have really great prices.
As someone with a large wide foot, I am able to find a lot of shoes for myself here despite that. They have tons of sneakers for me, as well as a decent selection of dress shoes.
Their clearance section is also helpful, as they sort the shoes by size. Also, even though the discount prices are not stated directly on the shoe, they have a handy price sheet on each rack to help figure out the percentages.

This Home Depot seems a lot larger to me than the other ones that I have been to. They have many many aisles and a really great selection of products.
I went in there once to get string, to tie a purchase down to my car, and got completely lost as I wandered around.
I do wish that Home Depot carried appliances like Lowe's does, as they would be nice competition.

Yankee Candles has by far the best commerical candles available. They have perfectly balanced scents and their smell is never over powering or disgusting. Their have a large variety of scents, which are available in many different types of formats (votives, jar, pillars).
My favorite scent has got to be their various berry ones. Also, I love the ability to get a mix and match box of votives. Just a word of warning though, please do not leave candles near curtains with open windows or matches near children.
Also, this store can get very crowded during the holiday season.

Build a Bear is a cute idea, but for what you get it is not worth what you pay in the slightest.
I wandered in there around the Holiday Season, and I saw the prices. $40 FOR A BEAR? They have got to be kidding. The bears are not even of high quality. You get to pick a shell which is made out of cheap synthetic fiber. It is not even made out of real animal fur or high quality faux fur. Then the employees stuff the bear for you and sew it up. It's not even personal. It's more like they just finish the manufacturing of the bear there to save on labor costs. If your kid wants accessories, good luck, they are really expensive too.
