I love this Toys R Us! Whenever I am in the area, and the crowds get too rowdy or it gets too chilly outside, I always venture into Toys R Us for a little visit. I never seem to leave empty-handed; I either pick up a toy or I stock up on candy. They also have foosball table and a basketball arcade game set up, so you'll never be bored there. And if time permits and the lines are short, my friends and I get tickets for the Ferris Wheel. This is the best Toys R Us ever!!!

I've never understood why anyone would go to a place like Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or T.G.I. Fridays while in New York City; there are many other local places that serve much better Italian, seafood, and American. However, when I saw this Red Lobster, I really wanted to go. It looked absolutely beautiful on the inside, and it had a gigantic fish tank, and there was always such a long wait. Well I tried it, and it tastes like any other Red Lobster, despite its much prettier decor. Live and Learn.

Fat Witch is a bakery that only sells brownies inside Chelsea Market, and their cute little logo alone makes me want to buy all of their products. Luckily for me, their brownies are also delicious! The Fat Witch Walnut, Java Withc and the Snow Witch are my favorites, and sometimes it's really hard to decide which ones to get (I usually end up getting them all). And for those who only want a little piece, they have Brownie babies, although the baby flavors are limited to original, blonde, and walnut.

Dragonfly is a fairly inexpensive Thai restaurant by the Greenwich village, with a lounge in the back. The decor is pretty great, although I think I'm only saying that because I like their fishtank. The appetizers are okay, not great. I ordered the Pancit Bihon once and I was unhappy with my food; however, I think I just happened to have ordered the wrong thing. Usually I stick with the Pad Thai, Chow Kueh Teow, Singapore Mei fun, or the mee goreng. Although I don't remember how it tastes here, you should order the Roti Canai at any restaurant that has it!

Chikalicious has original, homemade desserts and is the only place I know of that allows you to order a three-course desser "dinner." The place is a little tiny, with only about two tables and a couple of seats at the bar, and a little expensive, costing about $12 for your three courses. But the dessert is just wonderful; the menu changes about every 3 days, so you can't even come back to try the others that you've missed out on. Also, since the place is so small, you can actually watch the chefs make your desserts in front of your very eyes. A very innovative, stylish little dessert joint.

California Pizza Kitchen has some of the most unusual pizza pies I've ever tried. Originally this superb delight was only available to the Californians, but this restaurant on 60th and 3rd, allow New Yorkers to enjoy what others have enjoyed for years. The spring rolls are delicious, especially the thai ones, but the baja chicken and mediterranean are good too. I usually try to get weird toppings; I've tried the peking duck, thai chicken, pear and gorgonzola, and japanese eggplant. But if you like to stick to the basics, they have pepperoni, plain, and mushroom as well. Happy eatings!

Sea has some of the best Thai food in New York, and it's in bustling Willamsburg! The restaurant is also amazing-looking with a circular swings when you walk in, and a cute little reflection pond. The wait staff is very friendly and the food is just delicious. Get the drunk man's noodles, or the pad thai, or even the pork chops--everything is pretty good. They now have a branch in the city which I have never tried, but if it's half as the Brooklyn branch, it'll be delicious.

Spice is a good place to come if you want good Thai food but don't want to break your wallet. I usually come with a friend for their great lunch specials. The place has a very modern look and is not decorated in Asian decor like most Thai restaurants. It is also well-lit, unlike other Thai restaurants. If you come, you have to try the Drunk Man's noodles, and the Chicken Pad Thai. Their chicken satay is also pretty good.

City Crab is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. They have a great selection of seafood, and they are kind of expensive since they are a seafood restaurant in New York City. Their New England clam chowder is delicious, as is their calamari. The Maryland crab cakes are made to perfection, and the Alaskan King crab is so fresh and so tasty. This is a must-visit for all seafood-lovers. You will definately leave satisfied.

This Brazilian restaurant has great food. When you are seated at the table, you get a plate of fried plantains and bean dip, which is so good. The plantain appetizers are all pretty good. For the main entree, you should try the shrimp, or the pork chops, which are both rather tasty. The coconut yams are to die for. The coconut flan is also a good dessert choice.
