American food at it's better

Sunday, April 16, 2006
Like a lot of "Chinese" restaurants, this one does a lot better with their American food than the Chinese food. This has made it one of my favorite places to call when I'm feeling lazy and really just want some finger steaks and onion rings. The salads are crisp, and the deep fried faire is soggy. That's a bit more appetizing than it seems. I will say, though, that the pork fried rice is actually among the better I've ever had. It's simple and not too greasy. It also tastes fresh. I have had some issue with service (I've gotten some lip from the people taking my orders at times) but if you're in the mood for a cheeseburger and don't feel like getting up from the couch, it's not a bad pick.
