Phil (owner) came by my house and fixed a nagging leak in my sink and gave me a great education in the process. He's a very personable guy who dealt with me very fairly and honestly. His rates are extremely reasonable, and he really put my wife and I at ease. I highly recommend Comfort plumbing to anyone, and will certainly call him back for our plumbing needs.

OK, so we haven't officially spent the night here yet, but the stars are out, the ocean breeze is calm and the fresh-baked cookies are a delight. Seriously, they stock fresh-baked cookies in the lobby all day long. Ocean Lodge is just a class establishment with a friendly staff and comfortable, well-apportioned rooms. Heck, the alarm clock even allows you to jack in your iPod and listen to your MP3's - how cool is that? We're staying on the third floor in room 314, which includes a jacuzzi tub and high-vaulted ceiling - I'll ask for it again as it's the corner room on the top floor. Breakfast is complimentary... maybe I should've waited til I ate tomorrow morning before I wrote this review, but I suspect it will be as good as the cookies.

Bottom line: cheap, on-time, and quick. Unfortunately, not even two months after the cleaning, most of the stains are back. I'd recommend going with someone else, maybe Zero-Res.

Having Raymond cut your hair is a joy; he's a total professional and has a very calm, pleasant demeanor. He's a perfectionist in his work, and doesn't rush to get you out of the chair. He's been cutting my hair for nearly five years and I wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Soon he'll be cutting my baby boys hair, too. As far as appointments go, you may have luck as a walk-in, but I recommend calling ahead a day or so in advance. Since it's a Hairmasters, the price won't gouge you, either.

You see, we've pretty much abandoned the nearby Starbucks since Caffe Ladro hit town. Ladro is a coffee house and bakery. They have two very popular blends - Queen Anne and Fremont. Both are excellent. Gotta try their butterhorn - too good! The pastries they're selling at Starbucks pale in comparison.
They have a drive-thru, too, which is handy. They're not speedy, but they're worth the wait.

I wouldn't waste my time or money here. Wait... I did once, and it won't happen again. The sushi wasn't good, the chicken teriyaki was horrible, and the customer service was simply bizarre. The manager guy stood like 5-10 feet from our table the entire time hawking over my wife and I. Like I said, it was bizarre. If you want sushi, venture up to Toyoda in Lake City.
