Since my husband is the avid welder he was happy to see a local steel supplier in the area. The Angleton Steel Supply also has a salvage yard and sells salvage metal by the pound. The prices are reasonable and my husband picked up several to make some BBQ pits. Steel Supply also buys your old scrap metal and stainless steel. The owner is really friendly and helpful. They even carry tin roofing and sheet metal.
