I really love shopping for my little brother in this store. The staff is extremely friendly. The clothes are reasonably priced. However, what I love most is that their t-shirt collection is amazing. They have tons of t-shirts just perfect for teenage boys. It is such an easy place to shop for my little brother. I just stop in and I can almost pick out any of the t-shirts on the wall that he will love to add to his collection.

The Fort Worth Public Libraries (especially the Southwest and Wedgwood Branches) are great places to read, relax, and study. They have the latest movies, CDs, and books for you to enjoy. My family has to go to the Public Library at least once a week. As far as customer service is concerned, the library staff could improve on this aspect of their service. Although there are some very helpful people, there are also some very rude people--but don't let that stop you from accessing the great, free resources at your disposal.

We booked the Blue Mesa Grill for our baby shower last year. We wanted to have it there because we thought that they would have great food and a good atmosphere for our guests. However, on the day of our baby shower...we arrived and nothing was done. They were running late and our guests had to wait in the cramped hallway until the room was ready. Then, the room was so hot that everyone was sweating while they were trying to enjoy lunch (especially me, being nine months pregnant). For the hundreds of dollars we paid, it was overrated.

At first I was surprised when they changed this store into an all girl clothing store, but I must say I love it---more room, more clothes, more shopping items for ME, ME, ME! One of my favorite purchases from Gadzooks is a swimsuit. I am always able to find the cutest, reasonably-priced swimsuits here. I also like their accessories and t-shirts.

I was in the Motherhood Store at Hulen Mall on a weekly basis when I was pregnant. They had great, cute maternity clothes are really reasonable prices. I found the cutest jeans there that I was able to wear throughout my entire pregnancy. I loved those jeans so much, I wanted to keep them and wear them after I had my daughter. For pregnant women, this store is a necessary shopping stop.

In Mimi's Maternity store, you will find the cutest clothes that make you feel totally beautiful pregnant. They are a rather pricey store, but some of the outfits are well worth the price if they make you feel great. I bought the dress that I wore to our baby shower at this store and I loved it. I wish I would have found it sooner than the ninth month of my pregnancy. Check it out---you might find something you love there.

Dee Jay's Candle Shop carries the most amazing smelling candles that I have ever found--and I am a total candle person. Right before the holidays, I am in there with a pocket full of money---stocking up on candles to give out as presents and of coarse, it buy a few dozen of their candle, Santa's Cookies to burn in my own home. Don't be put off by the outside of the store (the metal gate around the perimeter of the store), it is a great little shop hidden away.

How can you go wrong with a place that offers you champagne when you are getting your hair done? It is really a hidden treasure on the Southwest side of Fort Worth.

Our Fort Worth Zoo is really one of the best attractions in my opinion. I really love the new additions, the atmosphere, and the whole experience. One of the most amazing times to go to the Zoo is in October when they do "Boo at the Zoo." The kids ( and adults) love it. Our daughter will be one this year and we look forward to taking her to "Boo at the Zoo." If you haven't been it the Zoo since you were a kid, you are missing out.

Nail Pro, a little nail shop on Bryant Irvin Road is not the cheapest shop to get your nails done in town--but I always leave there with amazing looking nails. I have found the staff to be quiet, yet pleasant. I enjoy going in there and just relaxing without having to deal with small talk after work. I would recommend Nail Pro, if you want a quiet place to get your nails done and don't mind a extra expense.
