I have possibly had the worst dental experience of my life. I made an appointment at the Green Oaks/Fort Worth office. The dentist that saw me--Dr. Algaissi was possibly the rudest person that I have ever met. I was a new patient, but he did not introduce himself. He talked to me for a mere minute or two and then went on his way offering me no information about my tooth. Don't go here...if you are paying good money for dental insurance and want a even a small amout of courtesy at all, find another dentist.

My family really enjoys the plays that the Allied Theatre Group--Stage West theater company performs in Fort Worth. The tickets are reasonably priced and the whole experience is a really enjoyable time. However...my only complaint is that I miss the Shakespeare Festival that they used to produce. Attending Shakespeare in the Park used to be one of my favorite summer activities and I have been really sad each summer without it. Bring Shakespeare back..please.

Anytime I needed to pick up a unique or quirky gift, I could always pop into Earth Bones on Camp Bowie and find just what I was wanting to purchase. This small specialty shop sold everything from Dirty Girl bath products to bubble blowing machines. The Camp Bowie store is gone and I must say that I miss the funky decor and the off the wall gifts. Where did you go Earth Bones?

There might be a little bit of a wait when you get to Luck Optical on Camp Bowie, but the fact that there busy can be attributed to the fact that they have really super customer service and inexpensive frames and contacts. I have been going to Luck Optical for my eye exams and services since 1994 and I have never had any problems. The staff is always pleasant and the price is always right. So if you don't mind a little wait time, it is worth it.

Priscilla's carried a wide range of adult gifts that are perfect for bachelor parties or other parties of that nature. From handcuffs to lingerie to chocolate body paint, Priscilla's has it all. For any personal purchase or gift that is funny, sexy, or sassy, I usually go to Priscilla's on Alta Mere Drive.

I am a bit Chipotle fan. Since the grill opened on Hulen, I have been making a few stops there every month to "get my fix". The rice, beans, and other ingredients make a tasty burrito or burrito bowl or tacos. They serve up plenty of food, so you never leave hungry. I usually end up cutting my burrito in half and saving half to eat later that day. If you haven't stopped by this little grill, you should for a quick, tasty, easy lunch.

If you are having a hard time finding your favorite beer at other bars, you haven't been to the Flying Saucer in downtown Fort Worth. The Flying Saucer has a huge selection of beers from a variety of different countries. They serve up pretty much any beer that you could possibly want to drink on a fun night out. They also have some great live bands play there. The only drawback that the Flying Saucer has is that it gets so crowded sometimes that you can barely move. If you are looking for a crowd and exotic beers, it's just the place for you.

The Italian Inn has been a hot spot for Valentine's Day dinners and other special events. I love getting a booth there and closing the doors--locking the world out so you can talk in whispers above candlelight with your significant other. Other highlights of this restaurant include the piano player, the friendly service, and the fact that you can bring a marker or pen and write a message on the wall to commemorate the event.

Electric Cowboy is not much to look at---I will admit. However, on a Friday and Saturday night out on a budget, there is really nowhere else that has such great drink specials. If you are not a country music fan, fear not--they alternate country music with rock and hip hop music throughout the evening. If you are looking for a cheap night out, head to Electric Cowboy on Friday or Saturday night. You might not like the decor or the music, but you can't beat the drink specials.

This store is small and slightly cramped, but this is the only place that I have been able to find foods that I can get at any grocery store in Hawaii. There are certain foods that I miss having here on the mainland and I have found them here. If you are looking for Asian foods and snacks and live on the West/Southwest side of Fort Worth, you will probably find them at KoKo's Food Store.
