If you don't mind a wait at the bar (waiting for people to finish their drinks so the bartender can quickly wash their glasses out and pour you one) this is a nice place for a quick beer after work. 2 levels of seating and a backyard space that fills up fast, this is a good basic bar. The music was very loud inside so not ideal for conversation, but it was a pleasant experience that I recommend if you're in the Union Square neighborhood and want to get away from the crowded bars of the surrounding area.

I tried the location on Park Avenue South and 19th Street. The service was very attentive and the sushi was delicious. They have an impressive sake menu so if you're a connoissour you will enjoy it. My date and I enjoyed a great meal of just appetizers, so you can get away from here without spending a lot of cash, but it's definitely better for a date than a happy hour get together with colleagues.

They expanded a few years ago but getting bigger hasn't affected their quality. You will definitely wait for a table if you go on the weekends and lunch time, but I have found great success in going during off hours - i.e. a late lunch or early dinner. A typical night will find you rubbing elbows with neighborhood folks, tourists and business men on their lunch hour. In addition to their pizzas, they also have a decent appetizer selection. I personally like the mozzerella and tomato plate, but considering how huge the portions are, you probably don't need it.

I adore this restaurant. It's on my must visit list when I have guests in town. The food is fresh and prepared in a healthy manner, the menu is quite extensive and they even have a wonderful selection of organic wines. The service is great as well, but I definitely recommend reservations since they are usually quite busy for dinner.

I love the Union Square farmer's market. I work nearby so it's a great spot to get lunch and also a convenient place to stop by for ingredients for a quick dinner on the way home. You'll find vegetables you never have heard of, and most of the vendors will take time to give you recipe tips if you need them. There is almost always a Long Island or New Jersey winery represented as well as a few plant stands where you can pick up something for your office or balcony. Chefs from around the area shop there too, do not miss this!!

I love Dr. Silver!! I like him so much, i stopped going to a dentist for over a year when I didn't have the health insurance he works with! Great office (note, they've moved to near the NYU campus but still have the same phone number) super friendly staff and Dr. Silver fully explains everything he's doing and all your options. They have great hours, and Dr. Silver specializes in working with musicians. I feel very comfortable with him and actually am looking forward to my next appointment. Definitely recommend.

My company just spent their annual staff meeting here and overall it was a great experience. The front desk staff is friendly and responsive, they have a great gym and pool facility, and nice rooms. Lots of golfing in the area and the spa of course is a big draw. I wouldn't necessarily suggest this for large groups - the meeting spaces were either too small or not ideal functionally for a lot of people, and it took the staff a couple days to figure out that we needed water and snacks and coffee in the meeting rooms - but I would absolutely go back as a private guest. Our group ended up having an emergency with our bus (no airconditioning!) and the hotel staff was extremely responsive in getting us water and ice for the ride home.

If you're looking for a fun little place to do happy hour in this is a great place. Basic beer and bar menu, and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights they have a very enteraining karaoke (just make sure you get there before 10pm to get a seat and avoid the cover charge.)
