TKTS is the only way to see a show

Tuesday, August 01, 2006
I love the TKTS Booth in Times Square (there's also a location at South Street Seaport. The booth moved from it's normal location due to construction, so for the next few months look for it's temporary location just outside the New York Marriott Marquis hotel on West 46th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. There is one window that exclusively offers plays, the other windows offer musicals and plays. Their hours are: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for 8pm perfs: 3pm - 8pm Wednesdays and Saturdays for 2pm matinées: 10am - 2pm Sundays for matinees: 11am - 3pm Sundays for evening perfs: 3pm TO CLOSING If you're lucky you an get tickets to just about any show - the more popular Broadway musicals run out first. There are always staff on hand to give you suggestions on what play to see if you're not sure which one to select.
