My family's favorite ice cream shop in town is the Sweet Dreams Homemade Ice Cream Shop on University.
They rotate their flavors so it seems like there is always something new to try. The Guiness Beer ice cream was a surprising favorite.
The kids also enjoy their sundaes, cheesecake on a stick and their smoothies. They've got a great mocha java drink that I really enjoy.
Oh I almost forgot - they have a customer card so you get a free cone after 7 cones and they show movies outside of the store on the weekends in the spring and summer.
