Best Sangria in NYC!!! Living up to expectations, this place is amazing. The red sangria here is by far the best I've had in New York. The downside is that this place does get packed, so make sure to book reservations when you go. There's a backyard/garden area with additional dining that's very cute for medium sized groups. If you're looking for a bar, however, this may not be the best place because the restaurant is on the smaller side. The bar isn't really made for that many people to stand around. Food, however, is amazing here. If you like seafood, try the Hemmingway. A few other recommendations are the Cuban sandwich and the pork chops. Waitstaff is great and really make you feel like family there. Don't forget to make reservations!

This place is great. The prices are reasonable and the waitstaff is extremely friendly. Holy Basil has great spring rolls, seafood, and also has a vegetarian menu. Something for everyone. It usually feels a little too dark in there, but that could be seen as "more romantic". It's on the second floor, as well, so it offers a quiet and peaceful dinner in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the east village. All in all, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a low key place with good food.

Haru is a great restaurant. The food is amazing, although the prices can a bit much. The tartar is probably the best I've had at any Japanese restaurant. It's very smooth and flavorful. Sushi is very fresh and decor is nice as well. The location on the upper east side has a trendy/romantic feel. This would be a great place to bring a date!

This place is great. They're always having some kind of promotional discount, such as an addition 25-40% off already reduced merchandise. There's a plethera of items to go through that are all priced way below department store prices. On the fourth floor, they have the "back room", where you can find amazing high-end designer items. The men's selection is good, but the women's clothing and accessories selection is amazing, covering 3 complete floors. The brands they carry are top of the line, including narcisso rodriguez, moschino, marc jacobs, missoni, and many more. It's good to pop by this place every so often to see if you can catch their sales on clearance items.

In my opinion, Comedy Cellar is one of the best comedy clubs in Manhattan. It's great to go there on Sunday nights when your options are bleak. Drinks are reasonable and the layout is a bit more intimate than some of the other comedy clubs. The small space, along with the brick wall behind the stage gives the place a very "New York" feel. This is a great place to bring friends who are visiting, as well as your date. They usually have a great line up, with two shows, back to back. If you get there late for the first show, they'll let you sit for half the first show and into the second show if you ask them. Highly recommended!

Citi Habitats almost monopolizes the market in NYC. They charge extremely high brokers fees and are certainly not willing to negotiate. They are flooded with plenty of agents that are clueless and who don't seem like they care for your well being. Many times they have listings up that do not even exist anymore. I know it's tough finding an apartment in New York City, but I would avoid Citi Habitats at all cost. Smaller companies are more willing to negotiate and work with you.

Charlie Mom's Chinese Cuisine has a very homey feel in regards to decor and set up inside the restaurant. The food, however, is rather "rough". The sesame noodles we ordered were near flavorless and came with very thick noodles. The two dishes we ordered, which should have been different, looked like the same sauce was used. There was a visible layer of grease sitting on top of the dishes we ordered. The dumplings had extremely thick skin that was too doughy. Too much dough, not enough filling. The food is a bit pricey as well for something so incredibly greasy. Overall, I would not recommend this place. It's worth it to go a bit out of the way to find better Chinese food.
