Oh boy! Even thinking about IKEA makes my heart beat faster! Even though this superstore is still a good hour's drive from me, I love it! It is soooo cheap! I couldn't believe it the first time I went. And how smart is it to have everything a family needs for a great shopping experience? An on site drop off play area, little play areas in each section of the store, a restaurant with decent food, and free diapers in the restroom in case you run out. I was so impressed with the mentality of this store.

If you like chicken but are tired of the same old same old, you should try Pollo Salsa in Grand Prairie. My family really likes the combo meals with beans and rice. Yum! The only negative thing I can say is that most of the time it's a challenge to order unless you speak Spanish. Pricing is very economical too!

My husband and I love to go to The Winery in Grand Prairie. "There's a winery in Grand Prairie?", you say. Yes! And boy, is it relaxing after a hard day. Service is excellent, wine is great, and atmosphere is fun! Tour the facility, gaze at local art, enjoy a sampling, or relax by the fireplace. Any choice is a good one!

My husband and I go to Nagoya Japanese Restaurant in Arlington often, but the last time we went was quite memorable! Our chef and waiter began to argue right there in front of everyone. They have the nice big habachi grills with seats all around so that you can watch them cook your food. Well, our chef lost it and threw a handful of eggs onto the hot grill, splattering everyone with egg and shell. He said he'd had enough and he quit! It was so bizarre to witness such an outburst in a public place, let alone a normally relaxed, subdued environment! We were all shocked, but hopeful when the manager finally came around to talk to us. We were insulted though when all the manager offered was 1/2 off our meal! Are you kidding me?Although normally the food is excellent, I have to give an honest review and say that if they really cared about the customer no one would have paid a dime that night! I've a new restaurant on my blacklist...
