My husband and I would go to GameWorks on dates, just to play some games and have fun. That was then...this is now. It is very pricey for what you get. Add that to the parking fee you will undoubtably pay, it just isn't worth it. If you're looking for some classic games though, head up to the 2nd floor! I think they're pretty inexpensive to play as well.

If you've never been to Kidd Valley, you've been deprived! It does cost a bit more, but it is so worth it. While you're there, make sure you order one of their milkshakes. It doesn't really matter which kind, they're ALL good!

If you're a scrapbooker/cardmaker, make sure you stop in to see the Impress store. It's not to be missed!

I'm pretty picky about hot chocolate (can't be the powder stuff, it has to be hershey's syrup). All the starbucks in the area use powder. We happened to be down on the waterfront and stopped in. What a pleasant suprise! Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere!

When the new Kent Station arrived, so did Cold Stone Creamery. Situated in the "new" downtown Kent area, it is a huge hit with my family! As the tradtional Cold Stone concoctions but with the greatest of staff! A word of advice, no matter how much you think you need, go with the "I Like it". The "I Love it" is just WAY too much ice cream!

This is a must for all pregnant and new mothers. It is an amazing store! The sales staff is exceptional and definitely know their stuff. They will be able to recommend the non-traditional items and also help you find the items that you’ll need. We were able to rent a pump from them after my daughter arrived. Having a sleep-deprived mother in the store was enough for sure, but they weren’t fazed at all. They took the time to explain all the features on the pump and answered all our questions. It is definitely worth making a trip for!

I took my daughter there last week for her to make something for her Daddy for his birthday. What a fantastic place! She picked out her animal, they stuffed it for her and she put a little "Heart"...

She picked out her animal, they stuffed it for her and she put a little "Heart" into it. Following that, you give them a bath and then move on to giving them a birth certificate! FANTASTIC place!

So this Post Office is further away from me, but has SUCH better service than the Kent downtown one. The kent personnel are so incredibly RUDE. At the kent one on 104th, the workers seem to actually get some sunlight and have personality. You'll wait just about the same amount of time at either one, so use this one instead.
