Six Flags Magic Mountain is a theme park that I can visit more than once a year without getting sick of it! It's nearly impossible to ride all the rides there are in one day due to the 4 hour+ long lines that you will just about always find. They even have some out of place/weird attractions at the park like bungee jumping which my friends always try to get me to do. The food isn't terribly great considering it's mostly fast-food type of foods and you have to wait in a line for like 30 minutes+ just to order your food! (At least that's how it is whenever I go.) But if you're looking for rides that will make your hearts race, this is definitely the place to be!

The Getty Museum has got to be one amongst my favorite museums in Los Angeles! I don't know if they change their art or how often they change their art but I remember exactly how my favorite painting looked like as it hung on the wall of the museum. (I bought a poster of that painting but I can't find it!) In addition to all the lovely art, the landscape is truly breathtaking! There are roses, all different types of flowers, plants, trees, streams, etc that it kind of seems like the landscape is an artistic piece in its own! There's also plenty of shade where you can sit down and enjoy "nature" at the museum. The Getty also features many workshop stations for kids where they get to make their own art pieces that they can take home. All in all, I really recommend this museum!

I've been to Universal Studios Hollywood way too many times before! I've also purchased an annual pass before so maybe that's why I'd say it is just "great." Something that I need to say is that there just aren't enough rides! The lines are always way too long for the little rides that they do have! They also took the E.T. ride out which I used to absolutely love! I like all the behind the scenes parts around the place though. If you go, make sure you take the studio tour! It just might be my favorite ride there! That's if you consider it to be a ride. If you're from "out-of-town," you should definitely check this place out!

The first time that I ever went to Swork was when I was in middle school and they had just opened! I don't know if everything is still the same but I absolutely loved it then! The drinks are great and they even have computers for you to use if you don't want to bring your laptop in. Oh and they have so many different flavors of honey stuck in straws (kind of like pixy sticks) that my friends and I were completely addicted to! There was watermellon flavored honey and so many other weird flavors of honey straws that we just loved! (We might've even loved the honey more than the drinks!)

Taiko isn't too big of a restaurant but the atmosphere is really nice and the food is so delicious! All dishes come with rice, salad, and miso soup! They lavishly decorated my dish to make my order look unique and almost to creative to eat. They even have a Benihana type of thing going on at the Sushi bar so you can watch as they cook up your food. If I recall correctly, the price range is around $10-15 each plate and the sushi is about $4.00 a roll. This place seems to be an Irvine favorite. I went around two hours before closing time and it was a "packed house."

I'm currently a freshman attending UCI and I love it so far! It's a wonderful atmosphere with an abundant amount of student opportunities. UCI has a balance between being a research university and still being quite undergraduate friendly. Irvine is also a very safe place to live in. There are always cops patroling around UCI and it's community. The biggest drawbacks are: 1. If you don't have a car, you'll never get to really experience living in "The O.C." but rather you'll be stuck in your dorm or apartment (since everything is so spread out and far). 2. If you don't find any roommates, rent is very expensive (about $2000 a month not including utilities). 3. UCI parking is really strict and are ALWAYS ticketing cars which leads to a very angry student population! All my friends are still mad at me for choosing UCI over other schools like UCSD and U of Mich @ Ann Arbor but UCI is awesome! Did I mention that we are the only UC to have 3 Noble Prize Winners in 1 decade?! Just remember that no matter what UC you end up choosing, it's still all: THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA!
