All I can say is how yummy! Golden Spoon ice cream tastes really good! They even have FAT FREE ice cream! Golden Spoon also has a ton of different types of toppings it's fun! I usually get the small because even though it's a small, it's big enough to satisfy your ice cream craving! The mini is really really small but the small is just fine, for me at least. I think the small plus one topping is like $3.50 which is not too bad. The place inside isn't too big, they just have like a tiny "bar" seating area but there are plenty of tables outside.

It may be the best fast food Mexican food that I've had. I think I even like it better than Baja Fresh! The price is like about $5 for a burrito but they are huge and also come with tortilla chips! It's well worth it!

The people at Ford Driving School are very nice! They try to make the classes fun and interesting. They also make you watch a couple of videos in class to reinforce things like "don't drink and drive" and etc.. They give you practice tests that help a whole lot and make passing the written exam seem easy! When it was time for the second half of exam, the driving portion, I was very well prepared thanks to FDS. The instructors never yell at you or anything like that if you make mistakes. I'd say this is a pretty good driving school.

I used to go to Lollicup until I started attending UCI and discovered Cha For Tea. I hate that the prices are so incredibly high (about $5 for a boba drink) but the drinks are always good. The barrista type of people there even offer to adjust your drink to your taste every single time no matter how many people are there. The one near UCI is always packed. It also opens until 1 a.m..

I usually go to the Lollicup in Glendale and I like the drinks they make there but I've been to this one in Irvine only once and I can tell you that I wouldn't make a second visit. Maybe the people working that night didn't know how to make my Honeydew Milk Tea Boba drink but I was really disappointed. The drink taste like pure whole milk or even cream with just a slight hardly noticable flavor of honeydew. Their prices are the best though.

Buca Di Beppo is perfect for dining out but still feeling like you are at your Italian grandma's housing eating home cooked food! I don't know how real Italian food tastes like but I'm guessing that Buca Di Beppo is as close as it gets when you're eating out. It's a real friendly environment and everytime I go there the place is alive and loud with laughter and chats everywhere! If you want a quiet setting, this may not be the answer though I don't know how it is during the week since all the times I've gone were during the week.

I just love Fred 62! Fred 62 has got to be one of my most favorite places in the L.A./Silverlake-ish area. It's really convenient because they open 24 hours a day and every single day of the year! That's right, they open on New Years, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc! They have an indoors area and an outdoors area so you could choose whichever you prefer. Fred 62 has the whole cool retro diner feel going on. Their food and shakes are great and it's a great hangout and a great place to get some lunch or dinner! Bring your friends, they'll love it!

I love going to The Grove! The Grove is a great outdoor shopping mall/place. During December, The Grove is covered in decorations and they even have fake snow falling every hour or so! It's a nice rather up-scale-ish place to shop. It's really clean and tidy. I would've rated it "perfect" if only it wasn't so frustrating shopping in the rain! Even though you could carry your umbrellas along and walk outside from shop to shop, it gets so annoying walking through the stores leaving your foot prints everywhere you step! If anything, you should go to have a cup of coffee at one of the restaurants and/or cafés besides the gorgeous water fountains and the nice lights.

Sushi Island might sound like a romantic getaway where you could go with your significant other to enjoy a delicious tropical dinner in a room that resemembles a Hawaiian beach scene but please be alarmed, that is simply not the case! My jaw dropped the moment I walked in and not because the restaurant was the most beautiful that I've ever seen. I was more than shocked to see that there are master bedrooms that are bigger than that place! The lighting was dim which kind of got annoying after a while. It's not an upscale restaurant and it surely doesn't resemble a tropical paradise at all. The food is decent. The average sushi roll was about $4.50 and they had regular dishes and combination dinners which you could share with some one. Just think of this place as a cheap version of Islands Burgers except they serve sushi instead of the burgers! The place was packed when I went though so I guess it's still a favorite.
