I live pretty close to this Ruby Tuesday in Union and have gone to eat there on several occasions. After the first few, I ended up going there to eat only because people I was with wanted to go there... I decided a long time ago I would never suggest to go there. The service has been horrible practically every time I've been there. The food took forever to come out (even when there's very few customers), and the service is horrible whether it's during lunch or dinner time of the day. Last time I was there (because my mom and sister visited me and they wanted to go) there were maybe 3 or 4 other tables with guests and the place was very quiet and empty. There were 4 of us (mom, sister, boyfriend, and I) and our food literally took 1 hour 15 mins to come out from when we ordered it. Thank GOD we had the salad bar with our meals... but by the time to food came we were all stuffed on salad. We asked the waitress several times (when we could actually spot her... she was MIA for most of the time) and she finally came up with some lame excuse of how the fish sandwich I ordered didn't "look right" so she had them make it again. Yea ok... what about the other dozen times I been there and food took just as long to come out. This place SUCKS. Drive West on Route 22 and go to the Ruby Tuesdays in North Plainfield... service is MUCH better.
