I'm generally not a very creative person when it comes to art. But Paint the Town brings out the creativity side of me. I love how you can personalize your own mugs, bowls, plates, picture frames and more. I made a mug for my fiance and wrote my name on it. It's a pretty fun place. The mug cost me $8, and they charge $6/hr. If you go on Weds., it's ladies night and they have specials, such as discounts on the hourly rate. You can also take your kids here and spend some family time with them. Kids would love this place, they get to paint things and see their final products in a week. Highly recommended! It's also a great date place too!

Today was a great day for ice cream. I stopped by Fran's chocolate at the University Village today to buy my favorite ice cream--lemon and raspberry sorbet. Most people would go to Ben's and Jerry's but I prefer Fran's rich and simple ice cream (no added chocolate chips, sprinkles, etc.). It's also cheaper than Ben and Jerry's, for a two scoops (more like 4) cup topped with a piece of dark chocolate on top, cost me $4.50. They only carry 5 different flavors of ice cream: buttermilk, raspberry sorbet, lemon, chocolate, and vanilla. I love how there's never a line there on a hot day, at Ben and Jerrys, there's usually a 10-15 minute wait for the ice cream.
Their chocolate is also really good too, better then See's Candies I think. Highly recommended.

If you love Chinese food, you must try this place. It's one of the cleaner Chinese restaurant in the area. If you live in the East side, it's the best Chinese food. The food is authentic, to the point that they have an English menu and a Chinese menu! Some of the items that are on the Chinese menu aren't on the English menu. The food there is quite flavorful, of course, if you don't mind the grease (since everything is stir fried), then you would love this place. My favorite dish there is the Mongolian Beef and their Hot and Sour soup. I also like their MaPo Tofu and String Beans. This place gets very crowded during dinner time, I generally do take out at this place because of the wait.

I recently went to this place for lunch and I was impressed enough to want to go back again. The atmosphere is casual and the decor is very mod and sleek. The cuisine is Greek and my favorite dish there is the lamb kabobs and their hummus is the best in town(different then the traditional hummus)! If you like pizzas, you must try their flatbread (very saucy with thin crust and tons of spices). The downside is it's very crowded and service can be slow, but if you don't mind waiting, the food is well worth it.

I've been with T-Mobile for the past year and I really don't like their services. Their customer service is never pleasant to talk to and I always get dropped calls around Beacon Hill, Renton, West Seattle and part of the 520-bridge! Is it just my phone? I'm beginning to think their service really sucks. Recently I went in to get an upgrade and see if I qualify for any discounts, but every phone I looked at requires a 2 year contract just so I can get the discount! That's a long commitment. I must admit though, T-Mobile is somewhat better then Sprint. I was with them for 5 years and they didn't even try hard to keep me! Their last word to me was, "I hope you will be satisfied with your new carrier!" Can you believe that!? Does anybody know what other cell phone providers out there works in the above areas I frequent?

Try this place, they do all kind of massages, from deep to relaxation. All their therapist are licensed and the is very soothing and relaxing. Great customer service, they really pay attention to your pain and it's definitely reimbursable through health insurance. They also have lots of massage therapists available to choose from so the wait period is a lot shorter.

If you crave for soup, salad, and, Soup Daddy is the place to go! It's kind of a New Yorkish deli where you line up at the counter, get your order in and wait for it on the side while it's being made in front of you! It's located in Pioneer Square and the place has decent seating but it gets really crowded during lunch! There is always a long line if you go there at noon. Their seafood gumbo and Caesar salad are awesome. They feature different soups daily so you never get the same kind every day! Their sandwiches are huge and tasty! I love the BLT and Tuna Melt there. Highly recommended!

I love this place! The scene is a bit more artsy compared to the normal Starbucks and Tully's. I also like their coffee too, it's stronger and better tasting. They also have really good tasting muffins and scones. There are a few of them around town, there's one in Queen Anne, Freemont, Capitol Hill, and Downtown. I wish there was one near my work place, unfortunately, I'm surrounded by Starbucks and that's where I always get my coffee when I'm at work. I'm not saying I don't like Starbucks, I just prefer the little businesses over the big, corporate, monopoly--Starbucks. I like supporting the underdogs! =)

I love going to the Kirkland waterfront, it has a great view and is usually less crowded then Alki or the Pier. When I'm in the mood for seafood, I generally go to Fish Cafe in Kirkland. They have great fresh fishes in different season and the view is absolutely beautiful! The staff are great, I always get exceptional services. As for the price?? Their main dishes ranges from $24-$50, a decent chunk of change. What's great is you don't have to dress up to go to this fancy restaurant, I was in my jeans and tank top and it was fine. A great place to take on a date.

If you love soul food, this is the place to go. Located on 23rd Ave, near the central district, this place has great cat fish and fried okra. The staffs are really friendly and the price is very decent. But the food is definitely the draw for this place. I think this is the best soul food restaurant I've tried in town. If you know another one, please let me know!
