I have to admit it, even as a card carrying vegetarian, I do crave junk food once in awhile! Now, I would never eat McDondalds or BK, but my family likes to indulge once in awhile at Taco Bell for bean burritos and snacks. I know these are soooo junky, but we toss on the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and spcial sauce, and it is HEAVEN in a burrito! Once in awhile it IS okay to have fun with this, and my daughter knows thse trips are very seldom, so she enjoys them for all there worth when we go! She loves those kids meals, although the only (--) is that Taco Bell has some very odd toys in their kids pack. We can never figure out exactly what they are supposed to do or be! :0) But overall, a fun diversion from healthy every day meals..

I was sad to see Rite Aid leave a few years ago, and then Eckerds to leave last year also, and now, in its place, we have CVS. For some reason, the stores around here just have an odd smell. Is that wierd? They have definately remodeled and decorated a ton since the Eckerds left, and they LOOK much better, with wider aisles and carpeted floors, but there is this odd odor that lingers.. Now, that may sound odd, but I have checked several locations in my area, and they all have that similar smell..others smell it too, and it will really deter me away from going there. When I shop, I like to browse and check out sales, but here, I just run it and out. The only hard part: the customer service here and prices and savings cards are much better than my Walgreens. So..it's like a catch 22 I guess, but if I had to choose, I would probably go to Walgreens for the sake of my nose! Sorry CVS! :(

I have lived in the south Florida area most of my life and usually have a Publix market on every corner. There have been a few Albertsons and Winn Dixie centers, but for the most part Publix is the main store here. I do like this store, except the prices tend to be a bit higher than the other ones. They usually have a nice selection, although being a vegetarian, they really do have a limited array of veggie, meatless and organic products, so that's a negative for me. Some locations have more than others, but usually, it's easier to just go to Whole Foods, spend a bit more, get what I need, than to check out all Publix locations. They also accept coupons which is great, but no double coupons, not so great. All in all, a great clean store with friendly customer service, and fairly reasonable prices.

A very interesting take on dessert! We had tried this a few years ago, and not really loved it, but last month my daughter tried it again and loved it! They let you choose one or several ice cream flavors (she loves cake batter flavor! ugh, but she loves it!) and then you choose 1-3 toppings which they then lay on a cold slab of marble and proceed to mix the batch together, until it forms a yummy delicious concotion of ice cream for you! It si freezing in ther so bring a sweater or long sleeves, but at this location they have tables outside so you can eat there too. They can be a bit more pricey than carvel, but sign up online at their site, and they will email every one in your family a FREE creation coupon on their birthday!

This is a really fun place to bring the family! They have games, pool tables, small eating stop, video games, bowling, and nightime "twilight bowling". They host birthday parties here from kids to adult and provide a variety of bowling teams to join also. I would suggest if you bring your kids to go early and not much later than 6 on a Friday or Saturday night to this location. I have been there later once or twice and it is swarming with teenagers. Not bad kids, just a different type of environment that I want my 7 yr old to be in..:) Grab a pizza and some popcorn, rent a few lanes, and have a great family night out!

This is really a great company! Aside from their really obnoxious commercials, they have a great line of products. I shop there for my whole family and the broad range of sizes and styles really compliment us all. I have used the online site for when we cannot locate our sizes in the store and and that works too. If you have the time, the stores always have 5-6 major clearance racks but they are up wayyy so high that at 5'1 I can barely reach them without standing on someone's head! :) Great jeans and they come in variety of styles, and they last forever!! :)

This is really a great store. They sell candles, cards, holiday items, and so much more. They even have a kids station where they can color while waiting for you. The best part is that they have locations inside malls, or free standing and they have a Gold crown card that accrues $$ for you everytime you spend money there. They send you $ checks every few months to spend at their store along with special offers and savings just for you! Their online site is good also, but the better deals can be found in store. I LOVE Hoops and Yo Yo and they feature them here in cards and toys..

If you are able to stop in at these sales, you have hot the jackpot! They also put out a number of coupons or get something free with purchase coupons, out there in internet world. Takes a bit of searching sometimes, but worth it for a FREE full sized product. Online shopping here also. I love their line of bath/house sprays, hand washes and sanitizers and candles and oils. Everything really smells wonderful and they do not test their products on animals, so being cruelty free ranks pretty high in my book also! :)

Few years ago, I had stopped in at a Bealls outlet store and not found too much I liked there..but recently, I tried a Bealls dept store in my city, and found some really great deals! I shop there occassionally during the holidays, and I am glad I stopped in also mid year this time. They have sales with 40 % off, then sometimes throw in even 10-15 % MORE off of that! There prices are very reasonable to begin with anyway, so this is a great savings! Only --..the merchandise is very seasonal, and sometimes there is GREAT stuff, sometimes, they recycle the same itesms until they sell. But overall, pretty good! They even have a website you can sign up for at the store, and they will send you savings, coupons, and store and web specials. :)

I have used this company for several years now. In the beginning it was out of necessity, as there were not many car insurance plans within reasonable $$ for me several years back. Now there are several more to choose from, but I definately stand behind Allstate. They have been there when I needed them and offer continued customer support via phone or website and I even get to pay my bill online, so that saves time. They are only in the Florida area, so when I move, I will really miss the services they offer. They also have life insurance, home ins, boat ins, etc. Whenever I have a question or simply a request regarding my policy they get right to it. An A+ company!
