This is my favorite restaurant of all time. Captain Jacks is probably best known for their Alaskan King Crab legs which is what most people who go there seem to order. It's no wonder though, because they are the best you'll ever eat and they give you a huge plate of them. They also serve a wonderful Prime Rib which is also a very large portion and cooked beautifully. Although I've never ordered a steak there, I've had friends order steak and they are excellent quality and cooked to perfection. My favorite appetizers are their steamed artichokes and mussels (which are the biggest and freshest I've ever seen!). The restaurant is a little pricey but that is because the entrees are pricey items. We go there for special occasions and never fail to have a great time. The service is awesome (they work in teams) and the atmosphere is casual. If you haven't tried it yet, do give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Best to make a reservation, they book up early.

I'm always leery of car dealership service departments and in that regard feel I'm a careful consumer when it comes to auto repairs. With that said, as an owner of a Toyota, I have visited 3 different O.C. Toyota dealerships to get service work/maintenance done on my car. The last place I went was to North County Toyota in Anaheim and that is where I'll be taking my car from now on. Service advisor Martin seems to be a straight arrow. He didn't recommend work that wasn't necessary and he took a lot of time with me discussing my concerns. The dealership is beautiful, the waiting area for the service department has desks in private little cubicles where you can plug in your laptop and work if you'd like or if you just want to veg, there's a very comfortable and clean waiting area with a color TV and refreshments. The staff there is ultra friendly and accommodating. My car was done when promised and even washed! I don't know about their sales dept. since I didn't buy there, but I highly recommend their service dept...especially Martin!

For the BEST pizza in all of Southern California I suggest you go to Pizza Rosa in East Anaheim. It is a small family-run take-out place that has been in the neighborhood for over 30 years. The pizza is authentic Italian with the freshest best quality ingredients. The crust is thick and flavorful and they are very generous with the toppings. And, the size of these pizzas is HUGE! If you order a small, it's about the equivalent to a large at another pizza place. The King size pizza is about the size of a manhole cover! Prices are extremely reasonable and the value is excellent. If you're tired of the franchise pizza places and want REAL pizza, give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Pizza Rosa is located in the Ralphs Shopping Center on the corner of Rio Vista and Lincoln, just east of the 57 Freeway.
