I was never a huge fan of golf, but working here definatly made me a fan of the course. Everybody I worked with made it a joy coming in to work every day and the golfers I dealt with were always very friendly, even after a rough game, which has to show they enjoyed where they were. The greens were always well kept and the location is in a nice area of Overland Park. I remember rates also being pretty decent as well, but it's been a year or two.

While I still reccommend Thai Treasures over Thai Palace, their food is still absolutly wonderful and the ambience of each reasturant is delightful. The selection is average for a thai place, and I've been to many. Definatly a fun place to bring your date if neither of you have tried it before. You'll both be addicted. They even offer take out and the staff is very good at helping out beginners pick what will work best for them.

Known for it's spicy food Thai is taking over America, and what better place to experience it in all it's glory than Thai Treasures. You just can't beat the deal you get with the fantastic food and service all at a decent price. The atmosphere is wonderful and I've even gotten my Italian food lovin boyfriend addicted. The best starter dishes: Pad Thai or Pad See Ewe. Both are my personal favorites and the easiest thing to start out with if you're just trying it for the first time.

Never really enjoyed Kohls because of the quality of the clothing. The prices are decent but the clothes always seemed to shrink or stretch after washing, and fell apart much before their time. The clearance sales are decent enough to make me stop by during end of the season, but that's about it. It doesn't have much else to offer. Shoes and belts and even socks are pretty expensive. Go toTarget.

I lived in the neighborhood attached to this golf course for a good 3 years. I've seen some big name guys in the parking lot like Michael Jordan. From what I know it's terribly expensive to play there, unless you know somebody, and no women are allowed on the premises. I remember skinning my knee outside and trying to get them to give me a band-aid and they wouldn't even let me in the clubhouse to clean it off. Talk about stuck up.

I taught preschool for about a year at LaPetite and had the pleasure of working with a couple teachers who left their jobs working there for various reasons. Obviously the teacher retention there is high because when they went back to see if their position was still available, it wasn't. Teacher retention is a HIGH indicator in whether or not the school is good. Plus, the teachers were all very into teaching. They LOVED It like I did and they really knew what htey were doing.

One woudl come to expect honest fair and trustworthy service from Christian bros. but obviously the name is a flat out mislead. Take your service elsewhere. Not worth your time or your overpayment.

This is a LOVELY cozy little brunch type resturaunt. The kind of place you might see the cast from Sex and the City visiting, should they ever drop by Kansas. The food was delicious, the atmostphere was quaint and sweet, and the service was wonderfully friendly. I'd reccommend this place to anybody be it a date or a lunch with the girlfriends. Lot's of menu choices and as angela says the Philly's are AMAZING. <3

I TAUGHT preschool here working in almost all of the rooms during my duration. I whitnessed bribing by the teachers, as well as the directors decieving parents. The teachers there work pretty hard, but the school doesn't drug test and I know personally a couple teachers who are drug addicts who work/worked there but this goes for may local child care facilities. Our rooms were always out of ratio with state requirements, and kids were constantly moved from room to room in an attempt to comply with regulations regarding ratios. This causes alot of ill behavior with children who don't handle change well (at that age, most don't). Many times I was asked to remain and teach even with a fever. DON'T take your kids there.

I nanny'd last summer for a young girl who went to dance lessons here. She absolutly loved going and looked forward to me taking her. The instructors were very nice and professional and the girl I nannyed learned alot and was always more than happy to show me exaclty what they learned, and was very excited to practice as well, which as anybody knows is a huge part in actually enjoying something; the desire to practice and get better.
