Cute little salon with reasonable prices. Matt and Ty do wonderful massage. Sandra does fantastic brows!! They are open late on evenings (though appointments vary according to who you see), which is convenient. They also do specials a few times a year on their gift certificates--10-15% off. So you can buy them for yourself and use them to pay for your services throughout the year at a discount. What a deal!! Downsides--they never have enough people working the disk, so you can expect to become very familiar with their "hold" recording.

Funky little salon with talented people. Todd is amazing (I've never been to him, but I see his cuts and styles). Christopher is a wonderful stylist. Andrea is a fabulous colorist (and my hair is quite difficult to color!) The prices aren't too high. Parking is very easy. Very easy to find. They also sell a wide range of great products. Its a fun funky little environment.

They're prices are quite reasonable as far as wedding videographers go. I thought they did an ok job. If I had to choose someone again, I suppose I would choose them because the price was right and we didn't want a super high quality video. Overall, like I said, you generally get what you pay for . .. so when you find a good deal, you may bet getting less than you would dream for.

Elliott's was a lifesaver when my husband and I first moved to Dallas. You cannot fathom a more helpful staff---they have greeters at the door that actually know where items in the store are located! Imagine. They also have a nice selection of items that can be hard to find. They have a very helpful paint department--they spent much time with me working out custom paint formulas for my first home. Very helpful. Definitely worth a visit--especially if you are a bit "green" and need advice or guidance.

Wow. The first time I went to Sam Moon (the original location in Dallas), i was so overwhelmed I only left with one purse (I know hate it--I think the many options clouded my good decision!) I have since returned many times and made much better purchases. What wonderful deals they have--and the options are simply phenomenal. Any sort of trendy accessory you might imagine--they probably have several options. You can buy earrings from $1.50 to $20 (although there are more on the inexpensive end). I highly recommend avoiding Sam Moon during the weekends--it gets quite crowded.

Until the recent renovations, I was not a fan of the galleria mall. However, they have not elevated the atmosphere of the mall to match the lovely selections of stores. They offer a wide variety of shopping options--from lower end "fun" stores to very high end. Shopping can be a hassle--especially during the holidays, but it is a worthwhile trip. The ice skating rink is quite charming and adds a fun element. Decent eating options as well.

I have only been to the Oaklawn location. They have wonderful gift selections (or shopping for yourself!). They carry a number of high end candles (which has always been my reason for shopping there), but many many other wonderful little treats and ideas for gift giving. The staff is quite helpful and charming. A wonderful shopping experience overall.

Every city should have an Eatzis. They have gourmet "to go" selections--almost anything you could ask for.. hot prepared meals, soups, custom salads and sandwiches, meats and fish cooked to your request, and a number of other prepared dishes. They have solid food and, compared to what you would spend at a comparable restaurant (remember: you would be paying tip as well), its a great deal. It is also wonderful to have so many options--especially when you have a group of people with different tastes to satisfy.

We ate here for the first time a few nights ago, using a discount gift certificate from restaurant.com (which, by the way, they accepted graciously and easily). The atmosphere is incredible---very unique and somewhat romantic. It seems as though you would feel as though you had privacy at your table, even if the room was packed. The service was impeccable--we learned so much about the restaurant, the wines, and the food. We ordered a bottle of inexpensive tempranillo wine, which was lovely. We also ordered the spicy tomato and mussel dish (wonderful) and the pimento de piquillo (peppers stuffed with crab and shrimp in a saffron cream sauce). The stuffed peppers were particularly divine!!!! We also shared a full entrée of the paella, which was also amazing.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!

I have only been to Al Biernat's for lunch, but its a wonderful environment. The entrance to the restaurant is quite charming and unexpected. They have reasonable prices at lunch (considering the level of food you are purchasing). The service was impeccable. I was with a group of women--most of us ordered salads and they were all delicious. Their lunch entrees can get quite heavy (judging from the looks of the few ordered at my table), but a good value for the price. I would definitely recommend it!
