If you go there to "be seen," that's fine, but please do not go for good food. I went once (ironically as a mystery "eater" to give them a score on their service). It was horrid. The food was "ok" but the service was absolutely horrendous. A friend of mine had the same experience. its certainly NOT the level of service you expect when you pay prices like that. I doubt I will ever go back. In fact, I have received requests to eat there again for the mystery eater program (with a $55 subsidy) and am not even willing to do that (you have to spend about an additional $50-75).

My husband and I both see Dr. Fleischli and have been very happy with her. She provides good service, albeit fast. But, if you are willing to ask her the questions and not let her rush you, she is very willing to answer them in a proficient manner. Her staff is relatively helpful. Aldo, my husband has had great luck seeing the nurse practitioners for issues they can help with--as long as you have seen Dr. Fleischi at least once, they can see you. Its obviously cheaper, but also much easier to get in quickly, etc.

I did my LASIK procedure with Dr. Fagadau (I was referred by someone who had done the procedure with him and had also researched him prior to doing his procedure). I was very happy with both the results and the level of care and service. Obviously, you do not pay for any of your LASIK-related follow up appointments. I never felt like they were rushing me out, etc. and always felt like I received a high level of care. I spent more for the procedure than I might have elsewhere in Dallas, but felt like it was worth it to know that I was receiving individualized care and attention for something as important as my eyes!

They have a large selection, a helpful staff and some of the best prices I found--especially if you order in bulk. I did not think they had a good selection of shoes, however, and I did not look at their wedding dresses at all---just the bridesmaid options. You definitely need to check their hours and make an appointment for someone to help you however--they get incredibly busy and you will need the help in order to figure out how everything works, get a dressing room, etc.

What a great office! I see Dr. McLaughlin and Stacy (my hygienist) there and have been very happy. The staff is absolutely fabulous--very willing to work with your schedule, send confirmations by email vs. phone, send my prescription toothpaste by mail when I send an email that I need more, etc. They also bake fresh bread in the office, have 7 AM appointments, offer paraffin hand treatments while you are treated, have some massaging chair add-ons and neck pillows and blankets. Wonderful service.

Most women dread these types of doctor appointments, but Dr. Heckman makes them very easy. He is very helpful and (obviously) professional. I have referred many of my friends to him and they always are very happy with his practice. I highly recommend him and his staff. His office is located by Baylor near downtown, although he might have a satellite office further north as well.

Great sushi (almost my favorite in Dallas). Don't be deterred by the location. Sit at the sushi bar and talk with the owner as he makes sushi---he's wonderful and very talented. It gets quite busy at times, but the sushi bar is always the best seat in the house. You can also bring your own wine ($5 corkage charge!) I highly recommend Oishii---its my stand-by sushi in Dallas. Great prices too! Oh--and Tuesday sushi specials.

We have had sushi at Steel and I have to say that I was underwhelmed. It was quite pricey for sushi that was good, but not fantastic. The service was great and the atmosphere was very trendy and fun, but comfortable. However, I doubt that I would eat at Steel again, just because I do not feel it is a very good value. Of course, it is always possible that my experience was the exception and that they have fabulous sushi the rest of the time :)
