I LOVE this video store. I love it even more because I really hate Hollywood Video and Blockbuster. I think video stores owned independently are a million times better, selection-wise and in ease of use, than the big corporations. Rain City has a good deal on punch cards and the employees are really cool, knowledgeable, and helpful. I've always been able to find any video I wanted there.

Yellow Cab is the WORST! The drivers aren't bad, but the dispatchers are rude, unreliable, and not helpful at all! After an especially rude encounter, I've decided to never call them again. There are plenty of other cabs in Seattle. I would recommend Orange Cab - Yellow Cab doesn't deserve our business. The Orange Cab dispatchers have always been pleasant and helpful.

This is a fun bookstore, with a big selection and a great atmosphere. You can get a coffee and the employees are very friendly. I am disappointed by the small selection of used books, however, as I had heard that they had a good selection. If you are looking for a bookstore to browse and spend some time, that isn't a chain, definitely check this place out, but don't make a special trip just to find a used book.

Etta's is a Tom Douglas restaurant, which to me pretty much gaurantees it's going to be good, and Etta's does not disappoint. The location is perfect for entertaining visitors to Seattle since it's right downtown by Pike's Place. The only downside to this restaurant is that it is pretty pricey. I always seem to get tables right near the door also, which definitely kills the ambience. Other than that, worth checking out.

Centrally located in downtown Bellevue, Seastar is one of my favorite East Side restaurants. The food is delicious and worth every cent! The lunch menu has lots of variety and great options. The stuffed calamari appetizer is intriguing and worth trying. The grilled tuna sandwich is outstanding and the accompanying fries are great! Iโll definitely be back as often as I can!

The view from the Bellevue Daniel's Broiler is gorgeous - Lake Washington, Seattle, beautiful. The service is impeccable and friendly. The lunch menu has some great appetizers (try the popcorn shrimp with two dipping sauces!). It also includes appetizer soups and salads, as well as entrรฉe salads and sandwiches. Then there are the entrรฉe steaks. Besides steak, all of the salads either have meat or seafood in them, so if you are a vegetarian, this place is obviously not for you.

Why is it a toss-up? well they have some great food (prime rib) but then some not so good food (their salmon unless asked for cooked med well will be served rare-med rare (very red in the center)). And the service...well they have some poor waitstaff and then some great waitstaff. So its a toss-up - happy hour is good..though only expect greasy-fried food.

great english pub...very chill and relax - great place to watch football (american soccer) and have a pint. they have lots of beers on tap to choose from. watch out on the weekends because this place gets packed. Tuesday night is Trivia night -starts around 8pm and lasts until 10-ish pm. Trivia's cheap and groups have to be under 6 people. And another tip: bring someone from the UK for trivia...lots of questions pertaining to England! Cheers!

Good pizza, good beer, and only 21 and over allowed - not a family pizza place. It's a place more for watching sport games and meeting up with friends. Also not very vegetarian friendly - only one vegetarian pizza..the "Vegetarian". However for the meat fans...lots of options with pizzas topped with Canadian bacon, sausage, etc.. There is even a Hawaiian pizza with ham and pineapple toppings. Another plus- waitstaff was super friendly!
