Though this place is generally a pretty expensive designer boutique kind of place, if you check it out often enough you are bound to find some great deals. Maybe because it's so small, they tend to want to clear things out of there at the end of a season and what not, so they drastically reduce prices. Of course, everything on sale like that is non-returnable, which is kind of annoying, but I've definitely made a few purchases that were great steals! I'd recommend stopping by next time you are in the neighborhood just to take a look. The employees are ok. Some of them can be ridiculously snobby and out of touch, but if you can get by that, it's worth the visit.

I don't know about their regular service, but the GoPhone did not work out well for me. The phone I received was cheap and annoying to use. Also, the billing was screwed up pretty much every month I had the phone which required me to spend countless hours on the phone with customer service to get things straightened out. It always ended up working out, which is positive, but overall it was a bad experience and I would not recommend the GoPhone to anyone else. A friend of mine has the pay as you go with T-Mobile and she has been very pleased with it. That may be a better option.

The instructors at Yoga Tree are very well trained and are dedicated to their practice. They are friendly and helpful and welcome to working with people at all levels. I've always felt safe and included in all of the classes I've been to at Yoga Tree. They have classes for various levels including lots of speciality workshops sprinkled through out the year. It's a good idea to check out their website often to see what's happening. The only downside is that some people may consider it a bit expensive at around $12 or so a class, but you certainly get what you pay for.

This is a great nursery all year round. They've always got tons of plants, trees, and accessories to check out. It's a really pleasant place to just wander around since it's pretty big. A friend of mine used to bring her kids here when she was babysitting since there was so much to see. They usually do coupons and things around July and December, so watch for those. Definitely my first stop for all gardening, houseplant, and related shopping.

This place has the best pizzas! They are also really good at using seasonal ingredients. For instance, their seasonal mushroom pizza is outstanding! Also, if you fill out and send in the comment cards, they will send you coupons in the mail. This is definitely the only place I order pizza from, though now that Tutta Bellas is in Wallingford, I think I'll be using them as well since they are also delicious! Yummy thin crust pizza without too much sauce! My favorite. I would have put 5 stars, if not for the fact that Pagliacci's is awfully expensive. It makes ordering pizza as expensive as going out to dinner somewhere.

Probably because I like thin crust pizza, I don't like the Wallingford Pizza House. The pizza was just mediocre. The atmosphere at this place is not that great either. There were a lot of fruit flies. People seem to really like the dome pizza concept though, so if you're into trying that out, you might as well stop by.

Thats right - I will be so bold and to tell everyone that this is a fantastic establishment and that everyone should go..and not just to the restaurant but to the Kayak store below as well. Heres a plan for you: go and rent a kayak (UW students get a 15% discount) - they rent both single and double kayaks..singles being more expensive...then after exploring Lake Union and Lake Washington paddle back in and return your kayak..then immediately go upstairs and get some great Mexican food. They offer 3 different types of salsa at their salsa bar. And please - get the Halibut Fish Tacos!! They are superb!!!! Don't forget a tasty margarita on the side!! Enjoy a great day!

Well - Lee is small and i guess rightly so its grocery store is small too. skinny little aisles and not much room elsewhere. It is located on Main St., right across the Police Station - you can't miss the Price Chopper sign! I have mixed feelings about this store...it definitely has a small town feel - if you go frequently enough (or are from Lee) you will inevitably run into at least 3 people you know or recognize. However since it is a small store the options are limited and the fresh produce questionable. If you are looking for a "different" or "hard to find" ingredient - dont come here. Also dont come here in the peak summer season during the day - its pack full of tourists who are making their picnic lunches and the 6 check-out lines cant serve too many!
But they do have recycling machines for cans and bottles and a counter where you can get your gambling and nicotine fixes.

A beautiful colonial house and located across from the Catholic Church in Lee, on Main St. They have a wide range of products...some cheap (not in quality though!) and some expensive. Beautiful lotions, bags, and things for the house! And don't forget the wonderful, helpful staff! Pam Loring herself will help you find that perfect present!

Well if you are just passing through Lee or its your first-time visit..then you must check out Joe's Diner..conveniently located in downtown Lee on the road leading to Lenox (i.e. Tanglewood). Good ol' Joe started this small quaint diner back in the day - its walls are flooded with photos of famous celebrities and artists that once sat at the counter of Joe's and filled up on greasy homefries and eggs. (even the famous artist Norman Rockwell painted a scene from Joe's Diner: "The Runaway" http://www.nrm.org/popup.php?filename=C490-TheRunaway.jpg)
However the restaurant is now passed down to Joe's children and with the 21st century there are alot more regulations for diners...therefore it has changed somewhat and doesnt have that feeling of being a "hole in the wall" place that you call home. But do check it out- get some coffee and some good grub!
