This is a beautiful theatre and is a fun place to see a show, but don't get stuck too far in the back. You're much better off up in the balcony sections that way in the back on the bottom. Also good is when it's GA on the floor by the stage. Drinks are expensive in the bar here, as would be expected I guess.

I'm surprised by the good reviews for this market. The Safeway in Ballard has higher quality produce and more product selection than this place. As I just mentioned, the produce is questionable, the baked goods are stale, and the selection is poor. I was very disappointed by this market. I especially expected more from it since it's on Queen Anne, but I've noticed that the Safeway on Queen Anne is pretty poor too. It doesn't have nearly the selection that the Ballard store has. I guess the lesson is not to grocery shop on Queen Anne, unless you are going to Trader Joes.

I thought it would be nice to have a land line in our apartment and so we went with Qwest. We just wanted the cheapest possible option they had and it still ended up costing over $20 a month! For nothing! No long distance, no call waiting, no caller id, nothing! Then, when I moved to the apartment next door, they wanted like $30 just to transfer the line. That's when we decided we were better off without Qwest. Plus their commercials are SUPER annoying.
Comcast is also EVIL. But besides paying outrageously monopolistically high rates for cable internet, their service at least seems to be reliable and consistent.

The ambiance is great in this little east side restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! They also have a great happy hour! Cheap wine and beer and some fantastic options from the menu, from creamy pasta dishes to garlicky calamari. The staff are super friendly and it's a pleasure to dine at Serafina overall.

Shuttle Express can be a good alternative to a taxi, depending on how far away you live from the airport. You do have to wait a really long time, usually, at the airport when you are heading home, as they like to fill the vans before sending them off. This can be INCREDIBLY annoying and frustrating when you just want to get home because it's late and your flight was awful. I've definitely bailed out on the Shuttle Express line to take a taxi out of sheer frustration and after having waited over an hour.
Taking the van TO the airport is much nicer because you can wait at home for the Shuttle Express to come and get you. The only problem with this is that they pick you up WAY TOO early - like several hours before your flight leaves. I guess this is because they guarantee that you won't miss your flight, but when you have an early morning flight, I'd almost rather miss it than get to the airport 2.5 hours early!
Overall, I've stopped taking the Shuttle Express because it's a waste of time. At this point I'd rather pay the money (not all that much more) for a cab, or take the bus if I have time to spare since it's about $30 cheaper!

This gym is in a great location with beautiful views of the canal and lots of free parking. They have a huge gym for basketball and they offer lots of different classes at convenient times through out the day, like yoga, etc. The gym has many treadmills etc. so it's easy to get a machine. They also have a separate very large room with the weights and nautilus equipment. It's also conveniently located on the Burke-Gilman, so you could jog there, if you live somewhere else down the trail!

I read all the great reviews here and decided to check this place out. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The hair cut I got was not at all what I had wanted. I'm not sure how I could have so poorly communicated my wishes to the stylist to end up with the hair cut I got. I'm still trying to grow out the damage months and months later. The staff wasn't very helpful either - I felt like I was getting a cheap hair cut somewhere, and believe me this wasn't a cheap hair cut.

This is a great place to check out if you are a guitar player, novice or expert. They have dozens of gorgeous instruments that you can try out and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, laid back, and friendly. They also offer workshops throughout the year for beginners and experienced musicians, with fantastic guests. Dusty Strings also features performances occasionally, so be sure to watch their signs! I think they might have a newsletter too.

this bed and breakfast is pretty superb...its a large old victorian house with lots of history - the Queen Wilhelmina of England stayed here way back in the day. It has roughly 8 rooms, 1 penthouse suite, and a good-size guest house which is equipped with a kitchen and living room. All the rooms have a bathroom and are gorgeous!! They are always always spotless. The house is also beautiful and has a huge living room and dining room. Other pluses are the underground pool, tennis courts, and bike rentals on the grounds! Come here for a romantic gateway in the beautiful Berkshires (especially in the fall foliage season!)

But, this place does have some really cool stuff and you can occasionally find something worth picking up on the sale rack. Overall though, I've rarely purchased anything here. The selection is pretty slim, also, as a previous reviewer noted. I wouldn't really go out of my way to go to this store, but if you're walking by it's probably worth a look. The staff are not very intrusive, which is nice.
