Went to Alma yesterday for the 4th time. Every time I go, it's a different experience. I've eat indoors twice and now outdoors twice. In the summer when it's warm, it's nice feeling with a breeze and the gorgeous view of the skyline. Twas a bit chilly yesterday so they set up this rooftop tent with heaters and it was just as nice. Luckily restaurant made the trip even more worthwhile. Favorites are definitely the Cheviche and the mole dishes. The location is a little hard to get to if you are going to PT it but it's definitely worth the hike. The spot is perfect for a date and great for small group gatherings.

If you want an ultimate sugar rush, this is the place to go. Cupcakes are so diet unfriendly. My personal favorite is the red velvet ones. But one thing you can't miss is a cup of their banana pudding. It's almost always looked over since you have all those cupcakes to choose from. I have to admit, after 1 cupcake, I'm done. It's packed with so much sugar, that you really have to wash it down with a glass of milk. So if you're looking to treat urself to something sweet, don't look anywhere else but here.

Their office is very neat and organized. They have a separate sick waiting area vs well area. They are courteous and staff is super knowledgeable. It's a family owned business and the doctors really care about the well being of your family. I've seen the way they've handled children (giving shots, giving medicine, checkups) and they have a very natural and gentle approach without making the kids uncomfortable. Best thing to do is to schedule a office visit to meet the doctors before you ultimately decide. You will certainly not regret it.

If you're looking for anything Baby related, this is the best Babies R Us to go to. Skip the one in Brooklyn, SI and at Gateway Plaza. I was able to find everything necessary here and do all my registry shopping for friends no problem! Plus all the associates there are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get advice on what to buy and personalized reviews on almost all major purchases. Depending on the time of day and week, the store can be a little packed but with so many floors and areas to checkout, you don't feel like it.

I used to come here back in the day when it was "new-ish" but since the area has been so populated and that is the man stadium seating theater in the area, it's just too packed and uncomfortable to enjoy. I only come here when I really really have to. Making the trek downtown to the Battery Park UA is just so much worth it. It's practically empty down there and less crowded. The only decent thing about Union Sq UA is that once you are out of the movies, you can hangout in the area and there are plenty of places to go since it's in a busy area.

Came here after a long day of snowboarding and was completely satisfied upon leaving. There wasn't a long wait even for a table of 13. They split us up and sat us in a few small tables but we were still together. Drinks were mostly beer on tap and menu wasn't huge. It is of course a steakhouse. We had the salad bar and ordered scallop wrapped with bacon appetizers and amongst the courses - Crab cakes, filet mignon, ribs and fish. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely! Then again, I'm sure a long day of boarding would warrant anything to be good but honestly the food here is very tasty. We certainly would come back for dinner again if we come back to the area.

Just came back from a weekend of riding out in Killington. It's kind of warm but there were plenty of trails to choose from and the conditions were pretty good. This time of year, you can't ask for more. It's slushy in some places but at the top, you don't even notice the difference if you went during the dead of winter. All the different peaks allow for different levels of skiing/riding and there are loooooooong wide trails so you can come down and enjoy the nice ride. It's one of the best resorts for the facilities and mountain terrain but also for the great restaurants nearby and nightlife. We had an awesome time and will definitely go back again next year.

As long as you don't get sea sick, this is one of the best attractions NYC has to offer. I remember taking the ferry when I had to pay ($.25 I think?) and now that it's free, it's become even more attractive. The ride itself is pretty calming and when the weather is right, you will see the most beautiful skyline. I'd recommend doing this just for the heck of it if you're a visitor to NYC. It's not too much time out of your day and definitely a romantic ride out on the deck at night. I think children would even enjoy the ride seeing that it's a free boat ride in NYC.

Now that there's a Brooklyn one, I'm curious to see how they rate. I went to Blue Ribbon sometime awhile ago and from my experience, it was worth the price. As long as you make sure to go at a decent time, avoiding the dinner peak hours, you're experience should be pleasant. I happen to drop by on a crowdy night but squeezed in with just the 2 of us. Bigger crowds might not want to do Blue Ribbon especially on a weekend. Very tight quarters there. I ate the sushi and rolls and must say that everything is certainly fresh there. If you eat at the sushi bar, your elbow room is pretty limited so keep that in mind.

When you want to eat really really good chinese food with a lot of people for a great price (cheap), come here. You cannot go wrong. It's authentic Chinese food and not your typical run of the mill spareribs and fried rice stuff. You will be so amazed at the number of delectable dishes you can try and after smacking your lips and rubbing your belly, the bill won't even make you wince. It's a great place for groups because of the newly renovated private rooms they have downstairs you can request for. They don't cost extra if you order enough food between everyone. You can even get the karyoke machine setup and party your butt off privately. My favorites there are the House special Chicken and rice cassarole dishes. Flavorful is a super understatement!
