Their food always taste great, except for their steaks. Don't expect their steaks to be those big juicy ones from Outback Steakhouse or other fancy steakhouses. With that said, their steaks aren't all that bad. Norm's is like Denny's, but not too generic. You get a diner-like experience with fast service. They have monthly specials which is always good on tight budget people. For a decent price, you get a generous portion of food in your meal.

This place may be a bit difficult to find in Pasadena, but it's visible and worth your drive. The portions are generous and the food always taste great. The atmosphere is very "Italian" and comfortable. It's always busy there, so it's advisible to make reservations ahead of time. I recommend their garlic bread for appetizers and if you're daring, try their fried calamari. Their calamari is spicy, nonetheless, very tasty. I also highly recommend sharing your meal and trying out different dishes in the menu with your partner(s).

This restaurant is always busy whenever I go there, but they always have room for their customers. They can accommodate large party of people or serve one person. The food is decent, with fast services. My only complaint is that the food is a bit more greasy than other Mexican food establishments I frequent. There are always enough parking spaces outside the restaurant, so there's no need to fight for space or leave your house early to find a space. They have one of the best chips and salsa anywhere.

I've always enjoy going to IKEA, especially this particular one in Covina. The only time I don't enjoy going here is the day after Thanksgiving. Nonetheless, IKEA stores are always an experience as their showroom are nicely displayed with every information provided about their products. Their staff are always available if there are any questions. I usually dine at their bistro restaurant. Their $0.99 breakfast can't get any better. Their Swedish meatballs, open-faced sandwiches, and apple dessert are worth checking out. On the subject of checking out, their check out line is s-s-slow, so it's nice to get their $1 yogurt ice creams while your partner wait in line.

This bookstore may not seem very large from outside, but it's really huge. Parking can get hectic at times because it's cramp and dark inside the parking structure, but with a little luck, you should be able to find a parking space for your car. The computer book section doesn't seem to have what I wanted (or intend to buy), but they do have an extensive collection of computer books. Also, their magazine racks isn't as big as Barnes & Nobles, but they do carry magazines that Barnes & Noble don't have. Their movie and music section is vast and worth checking out.

It's located in an extremely busy area of Long Beach, so be prepare for a quest to find a decent parking space. The wait time to get a table is around 30-50 minutes as they are busy during the weekends or make a reservation ahead of time. The food is decent, but not very filling. Their garlic fries are great and I also recommend the lemon crepe for dessert. The live band is very entertaining to watch and listen to. There is a window for customers to see the chefs make your crepes.

This is the largest music store I ever been to in the United States. HMV in Tokyo, Japan is larger than this store. Nonetheless, your music needs can be fulfilled here. They have a wide selection of music from the popular stuff to ultra rare items, including picture LPs for low low prices. Although there are adequate lighting in this store, it always feel dark in there... like you want to steal something. The store is not hard to find as their large "Amoeba Music" sign overwhelms the store front.

Although it is located in a busy area in Campbell between businesses and a major freeway, this Motel 6 is a little difficult to find as it is hidden behind another building. If you see a Starbucks in the vincinity (on Camden Avenue), you're there. Nonetheless, the rooms are clean and quiet. Be sure to book online as they usually have special discounts to online bookings.

This is a large venue with almost everything. There are plenty of parking and it's always free to park there. Security is always visible to assist people in and out of the venue. The place is a bit difficult to find in midst of various commercial buildings in Santa Ana, in other words, it doesn't stick out when you're looking for this place. There's a large pit area and plenty of walk spaces to get around the venue. They have their own ticket sales system so there's no need to go through TicketBastard.

This is one the better known venues in Los Angeles where bands come to show off their stuff. I don't really know a good place to park, so I usually park down the street in the supermarket parking lot. The sound is great, the restrooms are hidden, the environment might not look too inviting so it's better to keep things to yourself and not cause any trouble. Security isn't always visible but they are there to assist you.
