After a great experience at Craft, I decided to check out Craftbar. Boy did I have a bad experience. Everything that we ordered was way too salty! I could barely finish half of my dish. The waitress handled the situation well (so I am giving it an OK rating) but I sure wouldn't go back again! Maybe it was just us, but we really had a disappointing experience at Craftbar.

Wow, you will find amazing lobster rolls at Mary's Fish Camp (based on availability because it sells out sometimes). Restaurant space is small and only has several tables. The seafood is so very fresh and it is not too pricey. I'd choose Mary's Fish Camp over Pearl Oyster Bar or Grand Central Oyster Bar anyday! Just get there early or go for lunch to avoid waits.

Well, maybe I do. It is very cheap compared to other restaurants in Union Square (like Union Square Cafe or Blue Water Grill). Place looks trendy. You can usually get a seat even if you had to wait. But I did not enjoy the food at all! (They serve mostly noodles.) And would never recommend this restaurant. There are so many good restaurants out there, it is not worth wasting your time and money (even if it is only ten bucks) on food like this! It is just nothing special...

Breeze is just around the corner from where I live in midtown west. I decided to check it out and it turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable experience. It was not too crowded nor uncomfortable. The fusian dishes were quite good and prices were decent (not cheap). Overall, I had a good time there and would visit again because it is so close to me.

I went to Wallse for brunch the other day. I think I had higher expectations (because of Zagat ratings) and was a bit let down. Their brunch items were good but considering the price, I was expecting better. Their pastries however, were to die for! Maybe this is their specialty (I am not sure.) The decor was so-so and service lived up to expectations. Brunch for two came out to be about $50.

Fancy decor, comfortable seating, tasty food, and good service. I truly enjoyed my visit to this Indian restaurant in the East Village. The price is of course a little higher than your usual Indian takeout but it is worth it in my opinion. I have no complaints at all and will definitely return whenever I am in the area. Give it a try!

This is one of my favorite spots in Chinatown. It is not as dirty as some of the other restaurants in Chinatown but the food is still fantastic and the price is decent. When it gets crowded though, it becomes hectic and service might be a bit sloppy. The wait is never too long because the restaurant is quite big. (I've never had to wait for over 15 minutes, except on Chinese New Year's.)

This is one of the most romantic restaurants I've been to! What I liked most was the live piano entertainment. Of course the food was good too but very expensive, especially since they only have prix-fixe menus and you cannot order a la carte. Service was impeccable as well. If I had the money, I would definitely go back again!!

Mermaid Inn offers great seafood for what you pay. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience there. Good food, decent service, affordable price, and cosy atmosphere. Best of all, there is a outdoor backyard space so remember to ask for a table there when the weather is nice. They take reservations now so no more waits!

Located inside the Maritime Hotel, Matsuri is trendy and hip. The space and design was the most memorable part of my visit in my opinion. I loved the paper lanterns hanging high above my head. The food was fantastic but pricey and came in pretty small portions. This is the place to be if you like to people-watch or if you want to feel like part of the in-crowd.
