Hip, trendy and still quite popular, this fusion restaurant in the Morgan Hotel serves creative and delicious dishes good for sharing. I visited Asia de Cuba for both dinner and lunch. The atmosphere is better in the evening of course. I remember the portions being not that big, especially for lunch, as I left still feeling a bit hungry.

Not as exclusive as I expected. I went for lunch and ordered the three course prix-fixe (for about twenty dollars.) The food was only mediocre. Service was attentive and the decor was very funky. It kind of felt like I was dining in someone's garage (nice version of a garage). There were all these knickknacks hanging from the ceiling.

Grey Dog's Coffee is a small, funky coffee house located in the West Village near NYU. They serve REALLY strong coffee, too strong for my taste so I was not very impressed with the coffee. My friends and I did have a pleasant lunch there though. They serve some good salads and sandwiches. May want to check it out for breakfast or brunch!

Oh Taisho serves similar food as Yakitori Taisho which is right next door. The menu is slightly different but most of the food on skewers are the same in both restaurants I believe. This is a great place for late night snacking. Especially fun to go with friends and chat over beer and small dishes.

You will probably need to order a couple of dishes. It's also a good place to go for beer. This place is usually jam packed with people. If you don't want to wait, should try to go earlier.

Good place to go with you are looking for cheap clothes (cheap in price, not cheap looking, although some selections can be cheap looking). I think the quality used to be better when it first opened in the US. It gets messy and crowded at times but the upside is you can usually find pretty good deals. Especially worth it if you are looking for clothes to wear once or only a few times... The waits for the dressing room can sometimes be very long.

This is a lovely and charming French bistro near Times Square. The decor makes you feel at home and seating is quite comfortable. There is also a garden area (I remember it being an indoor garden). Food is above par. If you go early, they have a great three course prix-fixe meal for a fair price.

But the big space means that there is rarely a wait at all even if you go at the busiest times. Serves decent food with mediocre service. Nothing too spectacular.

When I ordered from them for delivery, the food was still very hot when it arrived and I did not have to wait for long at all.
