Bertucci's in the Atrium Mall is fairly new to the mall, but Bertucci's has been around the Newton area for a while. The dim lights set the mood, but you can also sit outside of the restaurant which is not literally outside, but just in the mall area so you can people watch and have a more brighter atmosphere. There is an open kitchen so you can see the chefs put the pizza in the brick oven which is neat. There is also a bar that serves great drinks. The pasta dishes are good too that come with a choice of salad or soup. The bread is delicious there. The server will bring bread with the drinks. The bread is warm and you can dip it in olive oil and butter which is very addicting. Bertucci's Italian style food is reliable.

Like most of the other reviewers have said, Oishii is a tiny cramped place where you will have to wait for a table or a seat, rather any time of the day. However, the food will make up for it. There is fresh fish and fresh rice plates served all day. I mean, the food is great but I'm not sure what you want in your dining experience. It is VERY cramped, and there are only three tables that are spaced close together. I would rather just call in and take out sushi rather than sit in the restaurant.

I enjoy coming to this Borders either before dinner or after dinner when I am at the mall. There is a large selction of books and magazines. The cafe has a lot of seats, which is great so you can grab a cup of coffee and some books and relax for a while. The staff at the cafe is friendly and the customer service help desk is very helpful if you need help finding a book. There is also always good music on. I highly recommend this bookstore.

You can spend all day with a cup of coffee and the wide variet of books here at this two story Barnes and Nobles in Chestnut Hill. There is a coffee shop part of the store that sells Starbucks coffees, teas, and frappaccinos. The baked goods are from the Cheesecake factory. They also have a good selection of cold bottled drinks including Nantucket Nectars and Fiji water. There are only four or five tables that sit two people so sometimes you have to wait to sit or just find a couch in the store. There is also the usual magazine section, kids section, bargain book section. Also, the customer service is great. The salesperson can help you find a book, and if they don't have it, they will look in the computer data base to see if another store has it or have it shipped to the store or your home. Overall, this Barnes and Noble is a great bookstore for all of your reading needs.

Bloomingdale's is a fine luxury department store that sells a variety of brand names. They recently renovated the women's shoe department and it now looks really up to date. There is always pretty good service from people from the make-up department to juniors to petities to the shoe department. Not to mention, they have a fantastic hand bag department selling Feregamo, Chanel, Kate Spade, Burberry, as well as LeSport Sac, Nine West, and Coach. I always enjoy going to Bloomingdales because I know there is just so many departments to go to.

After a local show or dinner, go to J.P. Licks for some great ice cream. Sometimes the line is very long, but the wait is usually not more than five minutes. The high school workers work very hard and fast, so the line moves. There is a wide variety of ice cream flavors, as well as yogurts, and they have soft serve too. There are the usual milk shakes and frappes and sundaes too. It is located in Newton Centre where there are many other shops around. I wouldn't want to eat my ice cream in the J.P. Licks since it's always crowded and it's cramped and squishy, but take a walk and eat the ice cream since Newton is such a fine neighborhood.

This is your typical neighborhood Starbucks located in the center of town on the busy main street. I have been here quite a few times, and it is usually tidy and the workers are efficient in serving you what you'd like. There are about ten small tables, and there are the great huge ceiling to floor windows so you can people watch or car watch, rather. As usual, your drink is made fresh and the pastries are appetizing. There is also a good selection of cold bottled drinks, fruit cups, and yogurt.

Also, they have so many copies of the movie that if will be in stock. They also have copies of new and old movies, and they have copies of television shows. The staff is pretty helpful too. There is also the usual snacks such as microwave popcorn, candy (sour patch kids, raisinettes), and sodas. This location is convieniently located on Needham Street so it's on the way to almost everything if you're from this area.

There is a variety of casual clothing (jeans, sweaters, cotton shirts), work clothing (pant suits, skirts, blazers), sleep wear, and fancy wear (silk skirts, blouses). One great thing about Ann Taylor Loft is that everything goes on sale. You'll go into the store one week and see the new items which are displayed fabulously, then in about two to three weeks, they will be marked down. They also almost always have a bulk amount of sizes so that won't be a problem if you're worried they won't have your size. The quality of the clothing is well-made. They also have a large petite section for women 5'4'' or shorter. I highly recommend Ann Taylor Loft for any working woman.

Since the new Jasmine Sola at the mall has opened, I go to the Chestnut Hill Mall more often. The new Jasmine Sola is at least three times larger than the old one that used to be located upstairs....
Since the new Jasmine Sola at the mall has opened, I go to the Chestnut Hill Mall more often. The new Jasmine Sola is at least three times larger than the old one that used to be located upstairs. This new store is big, wide, bright, and spacious. There are more racks of clothing, shoes, accessories, handbags, and mirrors. There are also more dressing rooms, and more friendly workers. Oh not to mention, a whole wall full of jeans! I like going to Jasmine Sola because there are always different clothes, and if you like a shirt but they don't have it in your size, a sales person can easily look it up in the computer system to see if another store has it. I have had very good experiences at Jasmine Sola.
