The look of this CVS is like any other CVS filled with candy, magazines, batteries, medicine, and a pharmacy. Also a photo lab too. This CVS has been here in Newton Centre for years. It has not been updated in a while, so it's kinda drab in there. But, it's just a CVS, so you just go in and get your stuff, then leave. The workers are fast at ringing you up, so that's a good thing. Also, the girls at the photo lab are promt and friendly.

I enjoy coming to Urban Outfitters, located on the corner of Newbury Street and Mass Ave. It has two levels, the first level with home goods and books, and the upstairs has women's and men's clothing. It is a decent sized store. The home goods section is filled with crazy designed pillows, bed decor, and hanging lanterns. The books are funny too - usually about sex, adolescence, or alcohol. The clothing, I like looking at it, but I only buy it if I absolutely love it because it is on the pricey side. They have brands such as Free People, Diesel, Levis, Lux, and Converse. They sell mostly casual wear, as well as some hoodies and t-shirts. They sell for retail, and I don't often look at the sale rack because it is small and cramped. The Urban Outfitters in Harvard Square has an awesome bargain basement where prices are very very affordable (aka super cheap!).

So I admit, I don't know if this is what authentic Malaysian food is supposed to taste like, but it tastes pretty darn good. You can start off with Indian rotti (the crepe like bread) to dip in some tasty chicken curry. The lunch specials are great, ranging from Mango chicken, mango shrimp, chicken curry, and they come with appetizers and rice. Good sized portions and very affordable. The dishes are very tasty and the presentation is very appealing as well. I highly recommend Penang for a lunch or dinner meal. The Malaysian ice-coffee is also a great drink to order. The wait staff is also pretty friendly.

Delicious home-made ice cream! You think ice-cream is just ice-cream until you come to Herrell's. It's just so creamy and cold, it tastes perfect. I just cannot describe how good it is. They have tons of flavors available, and there also yummy toppings if your stomache pleases. Herrell's ice cream will not be forgotten, it is just such a delicious treat to have. Especially in the summer time.

Summer Shack, located in Cambridge, is a large, kid-friendly, casual restaurant for seafood, fried chicken, and drinks. Jasper White's restaurant always has the best, fresh seafood ranging from lobsters, clams, fish to chicken, steak, and vegetables. There are always specials written on the large chalkboard such as wild alaskan fish with mango salsa or something unique like that. I personally like their surf and turf which is about ten shrimps (good sized) and steak tips with rice. I also enjoy a good sized lobster once in a while cooked the style I'd like such as grilled, boiled, or stuffed. All ways taste great though! Their dessert is really good too, they serve Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and they always have at least two different pies or cakes that complement the meal. I highly recommend Summer Shack for dinner.

I enjoy getting take out from Number 1 Noodle House located in Newton Centre. I will call from my home and place an order for take out. I will drive over (which takes about seven to eight minutes) to the restaurant, and my food will be ready. I like the efficiency of this place. Their portions are huge, for a nominal price. One of my favorites is the signapore noodles which is thin rice noodles with light curry flavoring, strips of chicken, pork, eggs, scallions, and onions. It is very delicious. The portion is large enough for two dinners. Another great dish is their chow foon noodles, which is wider rice noodles with beef and black bean sauce. You can also dine in, but it is very casual. You order then sit down, and someone will bring you your food.

This restaurant located on route 9 serves American Chinese food. If you're in the mood for chicken wings, boneless sparibs, and fried rice - this would be the place to go for. Their portions are generous especially with the low price for each order. They have lunch specials that come with appetizers and soup. These are also affordable priced. The quality of the food is not supurb but what you pay is what you get. The service is quick. They also have delivery, which is fast and efficient. Even though it looks very small on the outside, there are quite a few tables inside (about ten tables) with a waiter, so you can eat there if you'd like.

I enjoy eating at Charley's. They have great all-American food with friendly servers and delicious, large portioned food. One of my favorites for lunch is the clam chowder in the bread bowl. The bread is just as good as the clam chowder. It is alway steaming hot with lots of clams and potatoes. The bread is just delicious too. The rueben is also one of my favorites, and their french fries are always great that come with the sandwich. They load the grilled bread with just enough meat and condiments, not overloading but not skimping either. It's just right. Sometimes there is a wait, especially on weekend evenings, but I think it is worth the wait.

Whenever I think of Papa Gino's, it reminds me of when I was a child and my parents would bring my brother and I to the restaurant for dinner. It's just a kid-friendly atmosphere. It is old and it needs to be updated, but the food is fine. The pizza is good - it's not gourmet or anything, but it's still good. You can request crispy or well-done, which will be executed for your liking. There are also pasta dishes which are good. There are lunch specials during the day, like two slices of pizza and a soda or a pasta dish with a soda. Their subs also good, such as the steak bomb or steak and cheese. Papa Ginos's, it's a great place for families to bring their kids.

Sometimes I think that the Cheesecake Factory is overrated, but whenever I go there, the food never fails! The portions are huge, but they are also delicious. The price is a little up there, but when you have left overs, it's ok. They have like a twenty page menu with tons of appetizers, pastas, meats, chicken, drinks, and desserts. They have everything you can think of. They also have some Asian inspired dishes that are pretty authentic. Don't forget dessert. Not only is their cheesecake great, but their carrot cake and strawberry shortcake and chocolate cakes are devine as well. You cannot go wrong with the Cheesecake Factory. No wonder they are popping up everywhere.
