Sprint would sell more phones if they closed this store 4/12/2006

Seeing as there are many cell phone providers with competitive rates you would think that customer service is what would make a provider stand out. At the Sprint store it does....like a sore thumb. I had to go to this store four times on different occasions and the last time was enough for me to cancel my service. When you have a problem with your phone it's an inconvenience so to be inconvenienced even more by employees who either are rude or move similar to the pace of a turtle really doesn't settle well. My keypad went out on my phone so I had to leave it there for an hour to look at. After waiting for 2hrs they finally figured out that it was my keypad that was bad even though that was pretty obvious (not to mention I gave it away when I told them it had a bad keypad when I brought it in). They said they didn't have the part and that they'd have to order it. Three weeks later after calling everyday to see it they got the part it finally came in. So I made the dreaded trip back to the store where someone had to look at my phone again for 2hrs to figure out that the keypad was bad. They then said that that problem was not covered under my manufacture warranty and I didn't have the energy left in me to argue so I just asked them to cancel my service. So good luck to all who have to go to the Sprint store. more
