For $35 you can get a membership which allows you to shop for a year. THe prices seem to be pretty good, though sometimes they are no better than WalMart. I really like Sams for furniture and electronics. They always seem to have the best prices on both, though sometimes the selection is not that great.

I was even less impressed by this center than by the other location on 70th street. For the price you pay for membership, it is not at all worth it. The place is clean and well maintained, but seems old and lackluster. The one positive was that it was not nearly as crowded as the PLC on 70th, but it still wouldn't make me join. I'd much rather join the Y and get more benefits in nicer locations for less money.

It was very crowded on a weeknight and when I dropped my kid off in the childcare center, so one even seemed to notice until I went over to them. When I picked him up - same deal...so I guess anyone could have come in and taken my kid??
Anyway, the Y is a much better deal and the downtown and south locations are much better anyway.

A membership is about $75 for a family per month, which includes parents and kids (or childcare). In my book, that's a pretty good deal if you go a fair amount of times.

This is by far the newest, nicest Y in town, but if you live on the north or central side of town, it's a bit of a drive. It is always pretty crowded as well, and the childcare center has really weird hours, so it is the best, but also the worst.
ONe of the best things about this Y is that it's right across from a really nice new library as well, so it's a great place to take the family on a Saturday morning.

This Y seems to be in the "middle" in terms of quality compared to the other two. It also seems to be less crowded than the nicest south location, particularly on weekdays. So, if the location is convenient, I would highly recommend this Y.

Wawa...Wow! I never knew a gas station could be so interactive. These shops are amazing inside. They have a huge double row of fresh coffee pots full of various flavors and types of coffee. There are probably 25 total! They also provide cherry, raspberry, chocolate and vanilla shots for soft drinks. The cherry coke is out of this world.
Another great benefit is the rack of gift cards to various places, so you can just pick one up as you are filling up at the pump. Another great feature is ordering lunch at the pump...the list goes on and on - check them out!
Just a note: The only bad thing is that you might actually have to wait in a small line to pump your gas...

If you like flowers, it is amazing. If you don't like flowers, it's still an ok place to check out if you go quickly.
The lights are all outdoors, so you might want to steer clear of rain and extreme cold, although the lines tend to be shorter in bad weather.

The food was good - particularly the burgers, and while the menu is huge, it doesn't seem like the selection is all that great. There are a lot of repeats and pictures on the menu.
Service was great!

This Days Inn was slightly nicer than the average Days Inn. Within a short drive from St. Louis, this hotel offers a nice pool, convenient local across from a 24 hour WalMart and friendly staff, all at a cheap price.
The breakfast is ok, but closes early at 9:00 AM. This hotel is part of the Comfort line rewards program, so you can bank points as well as redeem free nights here.
