I actually do not think that pier 1 is pricey. Especially if you are comparing it to Pottery Barn, my favorite store! Our coffee table and end table are from there and they are about 4 years old. They have held up very well. I also like alot of their glass and dinnerware. They always have cute and cheap napking rings. Candleholders and vases are my most purchased items from there.
